2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers - Rankings announced

Kuala Lumpur: AFC has announced the rankings for the FIFA World Cup 2014 Asian Qualifiers Round 1 draw that takes place on 30 March 2010 at AFC House.


The rankings are based on the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa Finals as well as the Asian qualifying rounds for the main tournament. The final number of entries will be confirmed later by FIFA.

    Ph didn't play the last world cup qualifier so they can't have better rank than any other team.

    the worst is Ph might be play againts the second seeds team (team rank 6-10) in the first round. the first seeds team (rank 1-5) will not play in the first round, they already have spot in the group stage.

    Who said the philippine dream for world cup will be shattered?? Well if they lose this qualifiying round compare to other countries they need 20yrs to reach or to be strong or better football team not like philippines they just regroup the former asias football powerhouse the "Azkals" (The Philippines)
    For sure this coming 2014 or 2018 the philippines will qualify to the World cup and beat the asias top 5!!! Go Azkals!! Go Philippines!!!

    Azkals is NOT the best team in the Philippines, not even the best of players. But Azkals play for the Philippines, and they are doing just fine!
