  2. Hindi ba masyado nang marami ang kino-callup ng PFF?

Why do the PFF act as if there are 50 slots in the national team? It would make sense to me if they recruit younger people who could make it to the U23 team, but aren't there more than enough people for that team too?

If you ask me, if I were a top player from a top league, I would be insulted kung mabe-bench lang ako.

  3. Haha! They're not just calling up all these players for the sake of it. They're doing it to widen the pool! It also doesn't mean they will go straight to the senior national team.

    Gamitin mo naman utak mo!

  4. Nothing wrong with looking for foreigners with Filipino roots, also with widen the pool. But it would make more sense to screen for players in higher leagues (in case there are), like the Danish based Cagara and Lucena (1st league) and not adding every 4th or 5th division player. This won't bring the Azakals further....then they can use their UFL players as well. And got anybody news about De Guzman from RCD Mallorca in Spain? As I know he is of Filipino/Jamaican descend and plays in Spanish La Liga/Primera Division.....such players we need. But don't know if he is available as he got Netherland passport as well.

  7. They say Jonathan De Guzman is better than his brother Julian, who plays for Toronto FC and Canada. I expect that he would play for Holland if he thought that he was in the ocach's plans. Canada's coach still keeps in touch to try to persuade him to join his brother playing for Canada. So Julian is a Fil Jam Can, and Jonathan is a Fil Jam Can Dutch. He would have to carry an extra bag, just for his passports.
