The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) would like to congratulate Coco Torre on his new role in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). This development marks a new chapter in Coco's career as a football administrator and advocate. His zeal and dedication have resulted in bringing the Philippines Football League (PFL) and PFF competitions to greater heights.
Under Coco's leadership as Commissioner, the PFL’s quality as a competition has improved, with more teams and bigger following. In his capacity as head of the PFF Competitions Department, he spearheaded in organizing age-group youth competitions that invigorated football in the regions. As one of the brains and implementors of the "10K Strong" campaign to promote the national team matches, Coco brought the beautiful game closer to the fans.
As interim General Secretary, he initiated reforms for better governance and facilitated a smooth transition to the new PFF administration.
We have no doubt that in the AFC, Coco's A-game and passionate heart would produce innovations and more progress to football not only in the Philippines but the rest of Asia as well. Thank you very much, Coco! We are proud of you!
