The Philippines Girls Under-16 claimed their second straight win in the AFC U16 Women’s Championship 2019 Qualifiers after a late 1-0 win over Malaysia last Friday 21 September 2018 at the Halchowk Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Keanne Alamo, who scored in the 4-0 win over Nepal last Wednesday, netted the winning goal in the 81st minute.
The Philippines remained unbeaten in the qualifiers with two wins heading to the final qualifier match against Myanmar on Sunday 23 September 2018 at the same venue. Kick off is at 11:45 AM local time (1:45 PM Manila time). Only the top team from each group, along with the two best second placed teams will advance to the next round on February.
