Rangers legend Terry Butcher to take over as Philippines national team coach

The former Motherwell boss has been out of work since leaving Newport County in 2015 and now looks set to take over at the ASEAN minnows

Butcher has been out of  since leaving Newport County in 2015.
Now the 59-year-old is set for his first job in three years as he is reunited with Steve Marsella who is goalkeeping coach at the ASEAN outfit.
The ex-Hibs boss will lead the Azkals into their first finals of an Asian Cup with the upcoming AFF Championship.

  2. So much for Fatlami's "grand" announcement on the 14th!! Lol!!!

    Not only was it announced earlier, but there's nothing exciting about Butcher being appointed. Very underwhelming! The team went sideways in this regard rather than being an upgrade to Dooley.
