  1. Who are going to be in the squad? Younghusbands? Airforce players?

  2. do you have any info about this, i saw somewhere that the older younghusband is now part of the doncaster rovers squad

  3. ^^It seems you're right (which is good, some proper club football for him). James is now with Doncaster Rovers and has the #40 jersey.

Now it's time for Phil to get back to club football as well.

  4. Well, he will most probably play for the reserves. He hasnt played regular footie for a couple of years, and suddenly he signs with a Championship club? Its certainly not for the first team, but its a good move him nonetheless. He isnt ready for that level, question is, does he have it in him to progress to be good enough to play at that level.

Basahin niyo, Doncaster #40 is James Husband. Not James Younghusband! Nabulag yata iyong si lolo HTBT, kaya akala niya tuloy!

  7. LOL! Quit trying to be a smart ass!

James Husband vs James Younghusband..... hmmm.... Too similar in name and it could be a typo!

Go look at the squad #40!

But yes, there is no official confirmation/announcement from the club that they did sign someone by the name of James Husband/Younghusband. So we'll just have to wait and see.

  8. I saw the link, its him. The Philippine flag is also there. Thats a good move. Thats what you get if you keep playing abroad with the national team, you get noticed. He was one of the better performers for the last two month I believe, the younger one did not do well, injury problem maybe. I hope more players can get contracts abroad.

  9. So he got scouted? Id like to see caligdong and borromeo get offered overseas contracts as well.

  10. Scouted thru bet365? Hehe It's easier for the Fil-Britts to get signed in Europe because of their British papers because their is less paperwork needed unlike for out local players. But an Asian signing for Caligdong and Borromeo would be more possible. But yeah, it would easier for Borromeo to get signed in the US because of his US citizenship.

  11. I heard that caligdong was offered a contract by a korean team. His manager in the airforce rejected the contract. I heard.

  12. It was Caligdong who said it himself. And i still dont believe it was from a 2nd div team. That wouldve meant good opportunity for him, and he declined coz of his job in the Phils and coz of the manager in the airforce? Being in the airforce is a job, he can quit that if he wanted to. That "gig" in Korea wouldve made his life more comfortable in terms of income.

I still doubt that James suddenly got such a good deal out of nothing. No clubs for two last years, and suddenly a championship club hands him a contract out of nothing. And back when he was with Chelsea, and left Chelsea, he was nowhere near that level.

We will see soon if its true.

  14. Didnt he play for wimbledon after chelsea?

Im hapoy for him and the national team. Modelling was getting him nowhere it was Phil who was getting all that modelling gig.
