  1. "The Philippine Football Federation has called up..."

Yet again it's the PFF that's calling up players and not the coach. BS!!

    1. You know who calls the shots... Its not the PFF, or the coach.

    2. this time almost no fil player from abroad there (no Schrock, Etheridge, Ott, Patino, Cagara...)...and funny to see they have re-activated Ray Jonsson

    3. You still have Ray, Jerry and the Guirado bros though. Surprised to see that Mulders isnt there. I thought he played for Global recently?

And Jerry Lucena. Playing for the azkals is pretty much the only playing time he will get, as he is out in the cold for Esbjerg, or is it the age thing catching up on him.

I was wondering why Ray hasnt been included in the recent tournament/friendlies. But now suddenly he is in again.

  4. Whoa! Read your FIFA rules. The Head Coach selects the players who will be called up and informs the MA about his selection, then the MA makes the call ups. Only the MA can make the call up. Head Coach is just an employee of the MA......Lots of pseudo experts here......

    1. oh shut up you goody-goody!

obviously the pff is the one that informs the clubs if their players get called up! but based on the players that have been called up during weiss' tenure, it's safe to say that the pff (or palami himself) is interfering with which players get called up or not!

    3. Conditions set by Dan Palami before accepting the job as manager of the Men’s National Team. Straight from the horse's mouth:

“Ok I’ll handle the team but no interference from thePFF, I will do everything….training I will do it from the choice of players, coaches….”

  6. Deyto should start this game instead of Sacapano if they want exposure to our next generations of Goalkeepers but I'm sure Sacapano will man the goal because Weiss has more trust in him..

    1. Sacapano has not got any playing time for Global Fc after transfer from Army.

    2. Hindi mo rin ma blame si Sacapano kasi ginusto niya ito at malaki rin ang offer compared sa Army but the problem is Global FC ay palaging nag re- recruit ng new players from abroad and its killing the playing time of our local homegrowns..
