  2. It's gonna be tight. It always has been against Cambodia, at least post Khmer Rouge era. I'd say 1-1 or maybe a 2-1 win.

  4. Interesting starting XI. Good to know we're going back to 4-2-3-1. However, Mw. Angeles again? What is Weiss' fascination with that kid?!? He's not good enough.. definitely not a starter a least!

saan na ang "COHESION" as a TEAM???

how much more kung ang makakaharap ng mga NT-AZKALS ay ang mga ka braket nila sa Group A???

Iwan na lang....hala sigi..GOD BLESS NA LANG ....sabi nga ...WE BELIEVE....good luck....

    1. There was enough to suggest they were really trying to play as a team! The pitch was shit as well and then it rained! If the pitch was decent at least, they would've played better and I'm sure they would've scored!

      Delete
    2. Maraming dahilan? the pitch ( remember AZKALS VS SRI LANKA? leg 1) the rain, ( remember AZKALS vs SRI LANKA ? leg 2 )..

ano pa?...the game is not much interested that is not the real playing styles of the AZKALS...ang alam kong laro ng AZKALS...puso and ipinapairal...dedications and commitment for the love of our country...kahit pa friendly game lang yan pero nandyan pa rin ang puso ..(WAGAS)

      Delete
    3. Against Sri Lanka, first leg, the pitch was shit! It was barely even, the grass was too tall in patches and look at how the game panned out? Second leg, sure it rained, but at least the pitch was newly installed, it was literally a brand new pitch for that game and so they were able to play some proper football.

In this game against Cambodia, pitch was shit for so many reasons. Bumpy, muddy in patches, and then it rained hard! You won't be able to play proper footy in those conditions! Sure, you say that the style of our national team is all about heart! They did show that by putting in some good tackles here and there and all that but at the end of the day, you can't exactly show what you're capable of in those conditions!

    4. But still, for my observations..if you have a team work, coordination and game-play cohesion, at least team like Cambodia is not that much stronger compare to other top SEA teams, against NT-AZKALS..

The only thing that we can expect for our NT-AZKALS for their next friendly games that they focus and concentrate the game and considered it as the final match..in every game...if they kept doing the performance like this, we don't knew if they deserved on the SEMI-FINAL SUZUKI CUP 2012...

BUT we hope...that AZKALS can proved and give us the best playing performance, lets us wait for the up-coming ALCANTARA CUP 2012 ( Former: Long Teng Cup )...Go..lang ng go..

  21. Shit pitch?
What do you think the ones at UMAK, Alabang abd even Rizal are? And do you think lower division Euro Fil-Fors play on billiard tables in the winter?
Truth is, without a new coach and some new talent the Azkals will stay stuck in Limbo.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You seriously need to have common sense!

When was the last time an international match was played at UMAK and Alabang?!? NEVER!

Who gives a shit where and what type of pitch the players in the national team have played on for their clubs! Even in the winter, the pitches that they play or have played on are still very playable/decent and not the potato field Cambodia had. This is also fucking full international match not some lower league or reserve league fixture! Gotta have a decent standard pitch at least and the one today was nowhere near that. Nobody is saying they would've played world class football with a decent pitch but it would at least give them the chance to do the basics right like pass the ball to feet and controlling it without any bobbles.

As for a new coach, it's perhaps a different debate for a different. But for the most part, especially for a country like the Philippines, we could have better. And "new talent"? What talent? You make it seem like there are a bunch of players of Filipino descent playing top flight footy and it's only a matter of us trying to get them in.

      Delete
    2. shit pitch? ridiculous, I agree! lower leagues in Euro have bad pitches as well especially when it rained or snowed. and apart from it: Cambodia played on the same pitch.....i think the Azakls are in a kind of dead end road.....no improvement in sight, they stuck....they need some new ideas etc.

Ignorante ka at walang alam how Football is played and how other countries are also developing their national teams.

The Philippines is miles away from real Football, the country is lucky to have this Fil-foreigners. Do you think other Asean countries are sleeping, they are also cultivating Footbll. Before you will say things like "worst team ever" make sure you can dribble a ball and beat 3 defenders in that pouring rain and carabao lake muddy pitch of the Cambodian.

And don't tell me I am excusing the draw because of the rain. These European players are not used at all to play in such a heavy pouring rain and muddy un-even pitch. And if ever you are also the one writting that the lower leauges here in Europe have also no bad pitches, you are exactly wrong and very very ignorant about the Football pitches in Europe. Because pitches in Europe have care takers and inspected by the state every now and then for the safety of the players, not only for international games but also the Club pitches. And being in the lower leagues does not mean they can't afford to have proper and good pitches.

And really no one can top your ignorance when you say "bad pitches when it rain and snowed", no game is allowed and it will be cancelled if snow lies on the ground. And if it is snowing while the game is on, it will be posponed for the safely of the players, international and local games. And lastly Europe does not have these kind of pouring rain.

All 3 of you are a bunch of trying hard IDIOTS trying to comment a sport YOU have totally no idea what and how it is really played .

    3. ^^Amen.

This is also why the Philippines will never be a proper footballing nation. People like @Anonymous 03:57, @Anonymous 22:56, @Anonymous 20:05 either like football but don't shit about the sport and have idiotic expectations and make retarded comments about everything just to make it seem like they're right. Or they simply don't like football but continue to make retarded comments everything just for the sake of it.

  26. You should shove your explanations to your ass because there is no excuse that a team composed of players who grew up in advanced footballing nations is held to a stalemate by a country ranked 200. That is really lame. It's like Manny Pacquiao getting a draw with a Tuktuk driver from Thailand hahahaha. Stop this baloney

  28. A 'fucking full international match' needs players of international standard. There's not a hope in hell of any home grown player achieving that until football is seriously supported as a NATIONAL sport and nearly all fil-fors who wear the NT shirt struggle to keep a regular first team place with minor clubs in their countries of residence.

  30. I am really wondering why this Anonymous 09:19 is here in Jhonny's Blog. I am very sure he is also the one who writes all these STUPID, RETARDED and IGNORANT comments above. The way he is commenting shows that he is not at all interested in promoting the development of the Filipino Football. On top of that he does not like the idea that Fil-foreigners. Looks like he is only here para mambwibisit sa mga Football Fans.

  31. Ha ha well what is the point of getting Filipino foreigners if they can't win? Don't be a nuthugger. Be a critical fan. Kaya nga andito sila so we can win. Just stick to locals if that is the case. That is not even Filipino foobtall. they are using system from foreigner countries.. Tell me after years of years of football here.

What is our football trademark ? uhhh wala

I practice selective colonial mentality. Di porke foreigner magkakadanrapa ako hahaha.

    1. You're right about being a critical fan. However, you also gotta have some fucking common sense! You clearly don't have any!! The only line of thinking that you have is, "if you have so and so, then it should automatically equate to such and such. If not it is shit". And then you end up concluding with "what's the point?" It's BS! Practice whatever mentality you want. At the end of the day, that mentality of yours is one of a retard!

TANGA ka nga at IGNORANTE when a Football player plays for the National Team he is not paid or hired. That is the practice all over the Football world. The Clubs are the one paying them.

And for the information of your EMPTY CRAB BRAIN, the money is not coming from the tax payers money, it's coming from the Club Owner. And there are players in the Philippine NT team who plays because they are proud to have the Filipino Blood. And I tell you, before they fly to the Philippines or play in the Philippine Clubs they have already enough money earned here in Europe that's why they can afford to play for small money what the Philippine Clubs paid them. A lot of these Fil-foreigners are not poor at all. They play because they are full blooded Football players and it's their love of the sports. They don't have to worry to earned and help their parents or relatives like you.

STUPID that you are they don't need to bring me to Europe because I am base here in Europe.

Jesus you are MENTALlY ILL and a PSYCHO CASE.

      Delete
  33. You may be based in Europe but you seem to know very little about football. 90% of players in lower leagues are paid peanuts and need a second job just to survive.

And did you know there are hundreds of talented half Filipinos out there who wouldn't touch the PFF with a bargepole? Firstly because there's no official website to find out what's going on; secondly because nearly all who finally find a genuine email address are met with silence; thirdly because the Federation is notorious for inviting trialists with promises of airfare refund only to plead poverty when reimbursement is requested.

Forget Fil-Fors. All great footballers have come from unpriveleged backgrounds and there are millions of unpriveleged Pinoys at home staying barefoot and neglected while the pampered NT rolls comfortably on unwinningly.

  34. @Anonymous 12:27

Hahahahaha, halatang inggit sa mga Azkals!!!
Hindi ka lang BOBO at TANGA wala ka pang KNOW HOW what's going on in the Philippine Football.

For your information FIFA is giving the Philippines a whole lot of money to improve this óld RMS which is not in international standards. And Germany is financially and technically helping the Philippine Football to improve. Ang Philippine Football at Filipinos ang may malaking pakinabang dito, TANGA kang tao ka.

MABUTI NALANG HINDI LAHAT NG FILIPINOS AY KATULAD MO..

In this phase of the Filipino Football phase people like you is UNDESIRED..LOSER..
