  2. 1-0 to Indo after 23-24minutes. Horrible back four for the Philippine U21 team, and horrible passing. Most of them cant make an easy pass, specially the defenders. Only Barbaso knows how to play.

  8. The problem is their tactics, they rely on long balls, which is very inacurate and only 2 atakers, the rest just wait at the back and watching the 2 forward, they cant even receive the ball, awful

  13. the way i looked at it...it was only barbaso who was doing his best... the goalie is sub-standard; their midfield doesn't know how to make a pass. their forwards was feeling like wolf, na magaling mag dribble at mabilis tumakbo. pero ang hihina nila. parang c araneta.
sana, they tried looking around, we have a lot of good players in Iloilo, or maybe in Bacolod. please do not rely on players from manila, just because they are w/ UFL. Their are a lot of good players in the provinces which were not given the opportunity to play in national leagues because of politics in sports.
a good example of this, when several of the strong (even champions) football teams in the UFL visited bacolod, they were beaten by the U23 team of Ceres. At ang masakit, ZERO pa cla palagi. Eh, tama ba yun na kung may international games, they will just choose and pick from those players with the UFL?

    1. Well, you gotta admit that there wasn't much time to assemble this U21 team. Therefore there wasn't any time to go all around the country finding the best possible players. Heck, they barely trained as a team. Having more players from Bacolod or wherever wouldn't have made much difference in the tournament.

      Anyway....

Once again, everyone's supposed hero, Jerry Barbaso, is overrated! Sure he tried his best, he was really trying to make things happen defensively, but at the end of the day, he's just not good enough even at this level and yet people were saying that he would have been a rock for the SEA Games team had he been chosen and people are even calling for him to considered for the senior national team.... lol!

The only player that really stood out from this game was Verheye! Everyone else was shit! But hey, I guess its just what the real level of Philippine football is.
