UNIVERSITY of San Carlos overcome powerhouse Don Bosco Technical Center, 1-0, in the championship match of the under-19 of the 14th Aboitiz Cup.
Bright Acadmey’s Renko Gaudiel of Bright Academy scored the lone goal in the 15th minute of the first half and after Joeford Dolino was sent off, USC still managed to held on to the lead.
Head coach Gary Panagsagan and assistant coach Joshua Fegidero said their players have the advantage in condition since the team is preparing for the Private Schools Regional Atheltic Association national meet.
“We are preparing for the Prisaa that’s why we really played well in the finals,” Panagsagan said.
