  1. Leonora for CB position. He is very composed even at a very young age. It's time to find a young reliever of Aly.

  2. ^^LOL!!!! Leonora sucks and wasn't even part of the preliminary squad for this game!!

  3. Leonora would be a nice pick. His composure and presence of mind on the game is just like of a veteran. In fact, we need more home-grown talents out there.

  4. The CB position temporarily vacated by Borromeo will most likely be taken by Sabio.

    Riiiigggghhhttt..... lol!!!!

You also don't put out homegrown players for the sake of it. If they're crap like Leonora, they don't deserve to be there. For the this game, he won't and rightly so which is a good thing.

  6. I thought Leonora played strong his last games. Keeps it simple and likes to rough it up -- lets opposing forwards know he's there. He's younng and so if he gets in the pitch he should take this opportunity to really showcase his progress. Sabio's okay but lacks consistency. But good luck to the Azkals and Becks and his boys.

You'd better think twice. How dare you call a national team player crap! If Leonora is crap, he wouldn't be in Team Azkals after all.

"...they don't deserve to be there." - you'd better watch your mouth, you worthless prick. How dare you call someone like that in the national team. These homegrown talents deserve it more than these fil-foreign who don't even memorize and know how to sing Lupang Hinirang.

  9. Mabuhay kayo Philippine Azkals! Long live Philippine football!

  10. Many tickets still available . I dont think Rizal will be more than half full ?

  11. I hope they would slash the ticket prices down to 70% off.

  12. I would put Leonora, Barbaso or Carli on Defence, not necessary on CB

So?!? You clearly you know jack shit about football then. He has two senior caps. If it wasn't for the SEA Games he wouldn't have been part of the squad, let alone make an appearance at the Long Teng Cup. As I said, he isn't even in the squad for this game and rightly so. Joke of a defender. If you already think he "plays like a veteran" then that would be an insult to the likes of Aly and Gier who are veterans in the national team and a million miles better than a player like Leonora.

LOL!!! What are you, his mom?!?! And I said they don't deserve to be there if they aren't good enough! And clearly a player like Leonora isn't good enough at full international level!! If you want to have a wank over players like Leonora then go do what you have to do then. hah!

  16. no way pascual is starting this one. id still prefer ed sacapano if neil etheridge or roland muller are not around. ed is a good keeper.

  17. ^^He's better than Pascual but it doesn't mean he's good.

  19. Indonesia lost only 1-0 to Galaxy because they had an organized defense. Neither the u-23's nor the Azkals' back four seem to have any idea - or have not been taught - what organized means.
More fresh faces please, including the coach.

  20. Yun nga eh kung nandoon lng sana cla captain Aly Borromeo, Dennis Cagara, and Jerry Lucena ay sana protektado yung depensa natin pero wala eh may club commitments cla sayang

  21. Mali pala may ACL injury pala c captain Aly.................BTW I was quite impressed with Sacapano yunlng kenulang cya ng height...........

Give it a rest already please!!!

Indonesia are better side than we are to begin with. Trying to compare them with us is just stupid. And second, clearly everybody on our team was in an attacking mood and why not? It's a meaningless friendly against a club team. Even if we were organized to what you think would have been acceptable, they would still make our defense look stupid because they've got way more quality than us.

You also say more fresh faces?? Like who? More fresh faces means more inexperience and you think that will help especially when talking about organization in defense?!? lol!! To say that would have been OK if we actually had more depth in terms of defensive talent especially with experience but we clearly don't!

  23. Sacapano did a good job. Too bad our backfour left him exposed too many times. We should boycott Weiss, OJT coach of the Philippines. What kind of assistance is this?

    ReplyDelete
  24. everybody play good we are killed by swift counter attack...hehehe naawa ako kay caligdong....dinadala na lang sa pwersahan para mapigilan....

  25. any replay by any chance?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hmmm.... Beloya was on the bench? Yet it was Clarino who was able to get game time?

    ReplyDelete
  27. And what happened to the oh so fab Chad Gould? Did a mosquito bite him again? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  28. Despite the score, it was great game. We showed that we can hang with a good club at least for the first 45 min. It could have been 2-2 at half, good run by de Murga and pefect through ball by James, unfortunately it was just slightly wide.

I'm done giving Araneta a chance. He is gone really huge right now that he is really slow.

    ***********
Chad Gould should play in the UFL > Nomads or Queen City.

  29. They better develop Beloya as our back-up FW rather than Slow Araneta.
