From what I understand they have higher expectations this time around compared to last year as they are bringing their A team(minus the mainland Chinese players who converted to HK nationality, due to visa issues and were not given permission to travel to Taiwan) rather than the U-23 team they brought last year.
Just like us, they are intent on improving their standing in the FIFA rankings so they brought their best possible team to accomplish this.
I am looking forward to the game on Friday and I think we will do well in this tournament and hopefully spring some surprises.
Third place again or second at a push. With Weiss saying they "still lack cohesion", that would also translate to having a poor start. Most likely a draw against Chinese Taipei and then thrash Macau.
