Philippine Under-16 To See Action In AFF U16 Championship

 The Philippines Under-16 Boys National Team is in Yogyakarta, Indonesia for the AFF U16 Championship scheduled from 31 July – 12 August 2022.

The Philippines is in Group A along with hosts Indonesia, Vietnam, and Singapore. The top team and the best second placed team at the end of the group stage will advance to the semi-finals.

• 31 July 2022 – Indonesia vs. Philippines 8:00 PM (PH time) Maguwoharjo Stadium
• 03 August 2022 – Philippines vs. Vietnam 4:00 PM (PH time) Sultan Agung Bantul Stadium
• 06 August 2022 – Singapore vs. Philippines 9:00 PM (PH time) Sultan Agung Bantul Stadium.

The head coach is Christopher Pedimonte and assisting him are Glenn Ramos and Ralph Datoy. PFF Head of Youth Development Reiji Hirata is the Technical Consultant while PFF Grassroots Head David Javellana is the Team Manager. PFF Technical Director Stewart Hall is also included in the delegation.

24 players were called up for the competition with player tryouts and camp held at the University of Makati Stadium.
