Philppines U22 team (SEA Games) to play Malaysia U22

The Philippines U-22 team will play an international friendly against Malaysia U-22 on 23 March 2016 at the Stadium Tuanku Abdul Rahman in Paroi, Malaysia.

The PHI U-22 team left Manila for Singapore last 18 March 2016 to train, and play against Tampines Rovers FC U-22 on 20 March 2016 at Jurong West Stadium where they lost 1-0 to the host team.

The following players from the U-22 national pool had been selected by Head Coach Dan Padernal to suit up in these international friendlies:

  • Bayan, Ronilo – De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde
  • Beaton, Charlie – Kaya FC
  • Bucayan, Jay-R – San Beda College
  • Casambre, Marco Alessandro – Global FC / Claret School
  • Cheng, Jaime Vicenzo – Macquarie University
  • Crestal, Jimson – San Beda College
  • De La Torre, Franco – San Beda College
  • Genco, Lorenzo
  • Kanayama, John Christopher – Global FC
  • Laguerta, Earl Real – Far Eastern University
  • Linatoc, Terrence – Stallion Giligan’s FC
  • Marzan, Jerome – San Beda College
  • Miranda, Julian – Enderun Colleges
  • Oberiano, Ivan James – University of the Philippines
  • Talaroc, Richard – Global FC

Head coach Dan Padernal is assisted by assistant coach Marlon Piñero and goalkeeping coach Noel Marcaida.

These international friendlies form part of the preparation of the Philippines U-22 for the 29th Southeast Asian Games to be held in Kuala Lumpur in 2017.

Bata -bata system pa rin!!! pag bata ka ni Caslib automatic may assignment kaagad sa national team kahit wlang experience sa coaching pero yung mga magagaling , may experience at puso talaga mag coach at lalo na wlang kapit sa PFF minsan binabagsak pa ni Maro at CAslib sa AFC courses imbes na tulungn i angat at i groom para maging isang bihasa na coach pero ano ginawa nila? hindi pinapansin at ang dami nga dyan pero ganyan talaga ang mga PFF technical directors at instructor nila. Crab mentality imbes na tulungan . Kaya ngayon, puro karma ang dating ng mga bata nila...

Hahahah, lots of San Beda players no wonder coming from Aris Caslib the PFF technical director and followed by Global FC under Dan palami while UP is non other than Anto gonzales who si also working under PFF while another player is from College of St Benilde where Noel MArcaida is the head coach of that school . ANy questions out there?

  3. I guess its very frustrating to the players from NOFA and Davao who just recently battle for the u-22 championship. I thought that the players from both teams will be considered as member in the u22 team. meron pang player from enderun college!haha
