Wow, Vietnam dropped 22 places, I wonder what happened?
ReplyDeleteWho cares....in Europe and South America nobody bothered about these rankings. Nobody heard about it nor say about it. So Pinoys don't ever get serious to it. Just keep playing and watching football. Enjoy evry seconds of it.
ReplyDeleteIt means a lot in seeding for challenge cups. Besides, we're not Europe nor South America lol. I would like for us to climb in rankings instead of ignoring that it is even there.
DeleteNot important for now, what is important is that our NT continues to play friendlies, we may win, lose or draw. But as long as our NT are playing like what they will be doing right now, we can and see and we will see improvement in the future.
ReplyDeleteThe important thing is we win in the tournaments like Suzuki cup and the Long Teng cup as results of our continouos friendly games and local practices as well.
Later on we will savor the ascesion to rankings when we get "W's" is "L's", then that's another story for improvement.
It also helps determine seeding not only in the challenge cup, but in the world cup Qualifiers too. FIFA 13 will also include the Philippine national team as well as the UFL. Don't you think our recent rise in the rankings helped?
