Army Football Club champs in 1st Globe Futsal Invitational Cup.
The Philippine
Army Football Club emerged as champions in the 1st Futsal Invitation
Club organized by Globe Telecom as part of the telco’s sports development
advocacy program that supports budding sports teams and sporting events. The
Army Football Club won over the Kaya Futbol Club with a score of 5 – 2 led by
Sgt. Rick Cain, with the last 3 points made within the last 2 minutes of the
game. Founded in the 1960s under the management of the Philippine Army Special
Services Unit, the Army Football Club produced a number of Futsal stars such as
Roel Gener, Nestorio Margarse Jr., and Eduardo Sacapaño. Twenty-four
football teams which included teams from the United Football League such as
Green Archers United Globe Football Club and Division 1 Champions Global
Football Club participated in the first offseason football event held at the
Village Sports Club in Paranaque.

I really like Futsal is more active the football, because it is quite small place to play and they need to be more accurate and faster.
