So Ref is in the squad again. They cant seem to make up their minds when it comes to Ref. First he is in, then replaced with some young goalie, its all back and forth all the time. And Margarse and Gener are still with the team? WTF! Time to let go of the older guys i think. They are not the future of Philippine football.
ReplyDeleteReichelt first tried out last year i think, he then didnt make it for the mens national team and not the U23 team. And now, all of a sudden he plays with Global FC, and is a part of the azkals.
Reichelt never tried out last year. Partly due to injury. If he did he would have at least been with the U23's.
DeleteAnyway.... get rid of Margarse and Gener!! They've always been shit and they're even shittier now that they're old!!
I guess they still will add Gener and Margarse when they reached their 5oth birthday.....WTF! It's really a confession of failure for Philippine football if they are still reliant on their service...
DeleteReichelt i think tried out when Weiss took over the azkals. Im not sure if it was last year or in 2010. It was the time when a bunch of filipino based players flew in and tried out in Manila.

Just to update your information about Patrick Reichelt.
He never tried out for the Philippine national team and never flewed to Manila for football purposes before he signed in for Global FC. He was already scouted and played in the Nagold Cup in Germany where he shoots 4 goals in 3 games and the Philippine selection made it to the second place of the tournament. Last June 2011 when the Azkals had their training camp in Germany, Michael Weiss and Dan Palami ask him to fly to Frankfurt to join the Azkals who will procedd to Durren in their training Camp. He was at that time still under contract with Energy Cottbus. Unluckily on June 13, he was badly injured during the Azkal training in Durren. While they want to fly him to Manila for operation his parents had him operated in Berlin, where he was operated by the second best German doctor for such injury.
For the continuation of Patrick's development after the operation please read Wikings Articles and Blogs about him.
And by the way, you don't really sound too fond or positive about Reichelt. Have you ever watch him play in the pitch before and after his operation?
C`mon, dont be such a dirtbag. People are asking questions. Isnt it allowed to be mistaken once in a while? I, myself thought he came with the batch of european filipinos, along with that scottish guy who ended up as a model instead of a footballer for the azkals.
DeleteWhats being asked here is regarding the managements selection process. They are doing alot of weird things, even you, with your fancy blog, should know that.
No one has questioned Patricks talent or whatesoever. But hey, maybe you think that Gener and Margarse has still alot to offer.
@Anonymous on 23:57
DeleteAnonymous on 18:17 was just updating you about Reichelt as me myself when I read your comment could easily see that you know almost nothing about the lad. When in fact, since the Nagold Cup a lot was written about him by phil star, inquirer, bloggers etc., specially here in Filipino Football and usapangfootball proboards had followed his developments till he signed in by Global.
And I think Anonymous 18:17 was only focusing on your somewhat surprise reaction to Reichelt being on the list. There was no mention whatsoever about Margarse or Gener on his reply.
My personal opinion however is that Reichelt is much much younger than Margarse and Gener. Aside from that the lad is a typical German raised boy who started playing football at the age of six. And being only 3 months in Global FC, he has contributed already a lot and proven his wortht help to Global's success to be the Champion in the UFL.
Now, again from the beginning of the AZKALS camp preparations for he 2012 SUZUKI CUP, the coaching staff should bring the real potential talented players and make a perfect selections of the players, then if they don't performed good, again there many issues, reasons, blaming,many..many. and many more reasons ...so they should select the best players from the start until the match proper.. changes and changes of the players is totally useless..and it is not progressive ..... for the NATIONAL TEAM
Delete^^What are you implying?? That you don't like the foreign based players joining, more so if they join late??
DeleteIf so, then what do you expect?! Our foreign based players are some of our best players! And tournaments we join aren't part of the FIFA calender. If these players are able to be available you can't just so no because they join the team late, that would be just idiotic!
Look, what i am trying to say is that our NT AZKALS should do the best preparations so that it will not come out a waste of time and effort for both sides (players and coaching staff) if you can remember this " I we make proper representations with their clubs, i think we can (give the players released)We should convince them that if the players will just be sitting on the bench during those time, it would be better for them to elease their players and we hope ( they will act favorably on our request ) " this is what I wanted to do it as early as possible for our AZKALS national Team , and more " if we can compensate for their services, then we'll do the costing and talk to the clubs " and that is their plans .
DeleteRoel Gener is there again. Isn't he the old guy?
ReplyDeleteGener is 38 y.o , Margarse is 36 y.o. i dont mind if they were vital players for the team , but they are not . They played for the 9th placed team in Div 1 : Army Fc
ReplyDeleteThose two idiots - Gener and Margarse - are on a junket to the US that's why useless as they are they're still in the team. Now I'm even more convinced that corruption in the PFF has not been eradicated.
ReplyDeleteCmon guys. Nonong Araneta looks like a corrupt besugo. Right?
hahaha i agree
DeleteNonong Araneta is a puppet, and who do you think is the puppeteer?
ReplyDeletePatrick Reichelt is a quality player. He can fill the right wing if James or Guirado is suspended or injured.
ReplyDeleteJeffrey Christiaens confirmed. Jacques Van Bossche was invited , but could not go because of school commitments.
ReplyDeleteNo Borromeo? Wasnt it mentioned recently that Weiss promised him playing time in the US or something.
ReplyDeleteYes I expect Borromeo . I think he has US passport so he dont need to apply for VISA ?
ReplyDeleteI only listed confirmed players for US training camp, But players like Borromeo , Sabio , Marwin Angeles , Jason de Jong , OJ Clarino and Andres Gonzales will probably get a call-up ? Not so sure about fil-ams Lexton Moy and Nate Burkey
Why not Moy? I thought he was a regular when it comes to the squads for the different games and tournaments lately. Nice to see Anto Gonzales given a chance again, if he goes to the US. He was good years ago, but then suddenly no one saw more of him when it came to the azkals, but he has played well past couple of years in the UFL.
ReplyDeleteHas Weiss finally started to pay attention to the UFL games, and Loyolas games in Singapore?
Moy tweeted to me that he could not make it for the training camp. I think he is going to Hong Kong.
DeleteIm not sure how many UFL games Weiss have seen...
What about the Younghusband brothers and Guirado?
ReplyDeleteYounghusband brothers have said before that they could not go to US because of prior "commitments"
DeleteJuani Guirado is not going , dont know about Angel , but both are newly weds.... ;)

ReplyDeleteYabang mong magsalita.
Your criticism does not help because for one you are criticising and cursing somebody you don't know. These men played hard and fought hard for the country.
You should at least give them respect and not insult them.
oh shut up. everyone here agrees that Gener, Margarse and even Caligdong and most especially Ian Araneta are a bunch of idiots.
DeleteBoy Pikap.... yet another goody-two-shoes. As the anon above me says, the likes are Gener and Margarse are shit and shouldn't even be involved with the national team anymore!!
