  24. Over confidence siguro and lack of composure ang main problem ngayon ng Bacolod. Hope they can hold on!

  38. May point naman si Sir Rick, kung ang NCR B ay nakapaglaro together as team ng a couple more games, talagang mas lalakas pa sila, pero ito biggest blunder nila (PFF maybe too?) or advantage na naging disadvantage sa pag qualify automatically to the quarterfinals.

He sounds pro NCR pero enjoy his lively tweets! Parang nasa game din tayo. hehehe..

  39. Ilonggos united!!!! We are the best!!! Negros Occidental is more inclined to Iloilo than to Negros Or. Viva Ilonggos!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Bacolod will still win against Iloilo! Defense makes championships.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Iloilo or Negros Occidental, it does not matter. Basta Ilonggos!!!! United!!!

^tama ka pre..dapat ibahin ng iloilo ang play nila..dapat more on depensa..huwag na mag flat 3...with the absence of leonora..they can have bayquin, boblo, batislaong, and si porras magaling rin naman sya sa defence noong nasa wit pa sya maliit nga lang...tiyak papatayin sila ng nofa..magagaling ang mga wingers nila..mabibilis pa...

    ReplyDelete
  44. Iloilo lacks defense while Bacolod tends to fade. The team that can make the major adjustments will win. They are equally skilled teams, so major factor ang coaches dito, who comes with the better tactics and game plan.

    ReplyDelete
  45. United visayas nalang..these are the top 3 football powerhouse of the philippines. 1)Negros Occidental 2)Ilo-ILO 3)Negros Oriental....sa nagdaang dikada evenly match ang tatlo pero sa ngayon hindi na..

    ReplyDelete
  46. ^ It does matter! Bragging rights! ^

If that is the case, then Iloilo will win!!!!

^^add mo pa iloilo topped the smart club championship leyte 2nd..

    ReplyDelete
  50. next year dapat automatic qualify na ang nofa, ifa, and norfa. hehehe. visayas the strongest.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Let us pester PFF to give 3-4 slots to Visayas teams (not only 2) in next year's qualifiers (and so on and so forth). Visayas rules!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Hmmm... I know it's a little too late but correct me I'm wrong here:

Ed Walohan has been playing for North Cotabato in the qualifiers, in fact he has been selected by Ricky O as one of his first 11 in the Mindanao campaign..http://bleachersbrew.blogspot.com/2011/04/dipolog-qualifies-for-u23-cup-quarters.html

Now.. interestingly, his name was not included in the initial lineup of Davao as posted in the Davao FA official web site: http://www.davaofa.bravehost.com/ (Of course! Since he is part of North Cotabato)

Behold! Comes the quarterfinals and semis suddenly his name pops up as one of the midfielder of Davao: http://www.sunstar.com.ph/davao/sports/2011/05/11/davao-booters-book-semis-slot-154932

The only difference was the letter “o” and “u”.. during the qualifiers he has been using “o” - “ed walohan” while during the QF and SF he is now using “ed waluhan”. Coincidence? I think not!!!

Therefore, pwede pa lang mag dual allegiance ang isang player?? Dapat pala kumuha din ng magagaling na player ang Iloilo at Bacolod from Dumaguete, Cebu and Leyte... I have nothing against Davao..I guess, PFF has a lot of explainin' to do!!!!

    What do you think guys??!!

    ReplyDelete
  53. congrats sa mga hiligaynon teams......go visayas maski sinu magdaog ah.....basta visayas....hahaha bout sa NCR %^&& sila...hehehe

    ReplyDelete
  54. ^^^yung nga ang problema..tila iloilo lang ang binabantayan nila..as the management of iloilo said the names of the three players was included on the original line-up..ferrer was not released by the air force during the qualifiers kasi my game pa sila..then the two are in dipolog..natapos ang games sa dipolog noong magstart ang qualifiers...well tapos na..kinarma na ang NCR kahit anong galing nila talo pa rin sila..good luck na lang sa NOFA and IFA may the best team wins...

  55. The best football finals match I've seen between Ilo-ilo and Bacolod was in 1991 Adidas Cup Under-19 held in Davao. Ilo-ilo won 2-1. But the match was a classic grudge match. Bacolod started the tournament powerfully while Ilo-ilo started unsteadily. But towards the finals, Ilo-ilo got better while Bacolod players got tired and were injury ridden. But still that finals was unforgettable.

  56. Evenly matched pa rin IMHO.
NOFA - topped U23 but didnt qualify sa U19
    Iloilo - 2nd sa qualifier both U23 and U19

  69. Hey guys. Were there competent folks from PFF scouting the entire tournament rating the players from all teams to be assessed for the national selection?

    ReplyDelete
  70. pff is so unfair!..they allow players to play on other fa's but they don't allow to add players...iloilo is one of the teams in the competitions that all of the players are homegrown...now sila pa ang malamang madisqualified for the reason that they added additional players...kabobohang rules talaga..dapat next year all players must be homegrown..kung saan sila pinanganak doon sila maglaro...putang ina kayung mga reklamador kayo!
