According to PFF "The U22 Smart National Amateur Championship is envisioned to provide a venue for more younger players from different provinces to showcase their footballing skills. It, too, will help PFF coaches scout potential players that will represent the country in the Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy U-22 Tournament scheduled in 2016 in Brunei, which serves as a training ground for ASEAN countries for the SEA Games in 2017 " but some teams have Foreign players like NOFA who had as many as 4. Now, tell me if it is still for our own younger players tournament? Some coaches are even AFC 'A' Licensed and they still recruit foreign players to their team while only 'C' license or no license coaches had no foreigner in their line up. Does this mean the more decorated the coaches are the more they are afraid to lose in the Amateur tournament? Tell me PFF if this is the right thing that your highly touted favorite coaches are doing ?
ReplyDeleteYes, PFF has allowed max 5 foreigners on each team. NOFA playing with 3 foreigners and one fil-Japanese. The foreigners scored 2 of 3 goals today
ReplyDeleteIf PFF was scouting for players for HBT U22 and Sea Games 2017 they should not allow 5 foreign players in PFF U22 Smart Championship.
ReplyDeleteThat's also my point jonny
