Dapat lng dahil may foreigner yung NOFA pero one lng na score nila against the all amateur Pinoy side.
ReplyDeleteBitter. It is all within the rules.
ReplyDeleteNOFA is a well funded FA...
ReplyDeleteKaya nga amateur tournament
ReplyDeletePros from UFL are banned to play in that tournament no matter how young they are
1. there are no pros from ufl participating in the tourney. 2. nofa won fair and square 3. wag maging bitter...
ReplyDeleteBitter ba kamo? Baka mas loser ang NOFA dahil hindi nakita ang mga talento ng ibang players nila? Four foreigners in an amateur tournament which according to PFF is the basis for U22 Hassanah Bolkiah Cup and this is the area where they can find promising talents. I think Davao will be the real winner dahil mas maraming local players na nakapaglaro at nabigyan ng chance makita yung skills nila. Problema kasi sa iba dyan hindi nagbabasa ng mga PFF annoucements atsaka old school ang pag iisip kumbaga pagdating sa larong para sa 'amateur' lng sana. Now, yung nagsasabing NOFA is well funded tama po yun pero management wise 0 tsk, tsk, tsk, i don't think so. Mas Magaling ang CMOFA dahil all clubs and teams are equal and given opportunities to show their wares plus yung program ng football activities nila naka base sa Japan FA at year round pa ang mga tournaments at na cater lahat ng area under them. Pero NOFA? Puro DFL lng ang alam at ceres cup once a year. DFL na year round is for school teams only hindi pwede yung private teams or clubs parang may discrimination dahil alam ng karamihan mga private schools lng mostly from Bacolod ang may mga team out side bacolod is mga private teams mostly kaya hindi ako bilib sa programa nila.
ReplyDeleteOn foreign players sa NOFA, PFF had it in its tournament rules. Thus, NOFA took advantage of that. Moreover, these foreign players are enrolled sa schools and had been playing prior the PFF tournament. Talking about Bolkiah Cup, wla na din yon.. winner of this tournament will go no where except for it U19 which will get a chance to be invited to national team tryouts for the AFF U19 this september.. this is the 3rd time that NOFA won an amateur title hoping to represent the country but, for the 3rd time, they will miss their chance. On NOFA programs, it's not that only private schools playing for its grassroots tournament. To update, more public schools are in the tournament. Also teams from outside Bacolod aren't private teams/clubs but school-based too. The program, though aimed to develop talents, but also inclined on balancing academics with sports. Soon, these players which are products of DFL will fill up the needs of talents in the other age-groups. And finally, Ceres Cup, though sanctioned by NOFA, is a tournament under d management of Ceres FC - a pro club based in Bacolod. This tournament creates another view of age-group competition which is club-based. Every FAs has different structures and programs. It may not fit ur views but, it benefit our young Negrense talents. The effect might be slow but, remained on its path. It's a long way to go for NOFA but, for now we have the BEST TEAMS in the Philippines - name it: Ceres FC (club), NOFA (U22), CPSU (SCUAA), USLS (PRISAA), NegOcc high school boys' & girls' futsal (Palarong Pambansa). We also holds the record of most numbers of teams in a single tournament with 400 plus in Ceres Cup.. So don't u worry, we aren't done yet -- we're still growing..
DeleteBakit lagi na lang davao vs bacolod. Parang mas magagaling players dito sa manila kesa sa probinsya.
ReplyDeletemanila is a basketball country...walang magandang grassroots except for the elites schools..and most of the player from uaap and ncaa are from the province.
Deletei agree. manilacentric kasi eh...just because they are the champions from their respective league(UAAP/NCAA) doesnt mean na they will dominate the other schools from the south...just look at the past result of the unigames...vis-min will always will be a football hotbed

ReplyDeleteIts not about the championship that every FA should be concerned about its how your players become the best in the country (like representing the national teams) and will play in the pro league. Championship in the grassroots level and in the amateur tournaments are meaningless if you don't produce top caliber players and always relying the services of foreigners as well as foreign born pinoys. Football is for everyone not only for school based players but for every child who wants to play football. It encourages children to go to school because of football no the other way around na pang elitist ang dating. Remember, best players in south america and europe came from nothing..
DeleteForeign players are there to fast-track the quality of locals, not to steal player spots
DeleteSouth Americans have been playing football since the colonial times
Philippines only recently
Philippines need to have at least 100 years of football history to catch up with them
Foreign players are a band aid solution for a fast track success but it will not help many locals if your mentality is always relying on foreign players. It's not about how long a country is playing its football history it's about proper system and development prioritizing its own products before the foreign ones because if that FA will continue to rely on our abroad brothers then it means it doesn't know how to develop the potential of its own and ineffective are the leaders as well as the coaches that are into it. Philippine Football was founded last 1907 and its 107 years ago , so don't tell me we only started recently because we had more than a hundred years of football history that is forgettable enough and we don't wanna make the same mistake again by not prioritizing our own and impose the most effective method with the help of AFC and FIFA standards. Again , winning is not important in the grassroots and in the amateur level. What is important is that we develop the players ability and full potential so he/she can be in the national team someday and hopefully play in the Professional League or be drafted overseas and these are all the duties of each FA's under the vision of PFF itself.
DeleteOh, would just like to add, its not only Ceres and NOFA that supports grassroots here in Negros, but private clubs as well..We do offer free football clinics for young kids and enthusiasts alike..The pitch we play at aint that glorious but we do get help from some friends like Geloi (NOFA U22 keeper) and sometimes from Gino (DFL Secretary General)..Football here in Negros is a way of life..
