Philippines Football news
9 YEARS !
A loss to the Sparks, only a draw against Jeepney, if this is all they can do, they'll get a proper thrashing against Thailand and North Korea in the qualifiers. They'll also be lucky to get anything against Cambodia.
That's the PFF style! They will always form 1-2 months only before every tournament in the Youth Teams while other nations prepare and develop for years. They will abandon those already in the training pool after every tournament then have another tryout and get some fil foreigner (band aid style) to strengthen the squad while sacrificing team chemistry and snubbing the homegrowns. Every year they have another batch of players to form that;s why shortcomings are inevitable in the PFF kingdom.
The hell are you talking about? How long should they prepare? LOL. Its Under 22, they wont stay 22 forever! They were not 22 years old 5 years ago and a year from now they will be 23 years of age. LOL at you poopy pants. What you should be saying is that there should be a proper youth system where players start out from Under 13, then get promoted to the next age level until they become ripe for the picking in the senior team. God you should pick up a rock and bash your head in. Get a brain!
Your the fuckin' brainless faggot who don't understand because thats what I mean. You are an emotionally retarded brat who needs more lecturing than any other bloggers here.
Hi there Poopy Pants. You should not cry when an overseas based Filipino gets inserted into the youth squad. A local player may get dropped if they do not meet expectations. Do not cry and blame it on the PFF all the time. Or Dan Palami. LOL so you want underachieving losers to get promoted to the senior squad? What kind of logic is that? You really are a poopy pants! LOL.
The problem with you promdis is your lack of vision and inability to think outside of the box. Lol. The advantage of fil foreign players is their exposure to quality football training compared to our youth players. It's a no-brainer who should get picked. Get a brain if you still can't figure it out.
Lol fil foreigners with all their training abroad lose to third world vietnam and thailand. Go back driving tricycle in america or doing laundry in england lol
It will take some more years of continuous development for the ph team to get at par with thailand.except in visayas, youth football on the rest of the country only has a cult following, mostly in private schools.there are a lot of good players but upon entering college, they fall out of the sport to focus on getting degree for obvious reasons.Deinitely pff has their job cut out for them. But the private sector also needs to do their part.it is good that local and fil-foreigners like caligdong, yhusbands, gier, etc have tied up with private groups to promote the sport and make it popular.
Anonymous19 March 2015 at 16:41 you are right on your analysis and I site Don Bosco as one example as you see their schools produces many talented footballers and so many championship trophies which they would end up having no area to place it anymore. There secret is make football a sport part of their PE from grade 1- 4 which definitely make a child and parents impossible to turn down as it is part of their curriculum and no other sport is allowed during that years. But sad to say those students of Don Bosco comes from upper class level meaning they won't pursue football anymore after Highschool as they would concentrate on their degrees and business investments. In short, we cannot rely on rich kids to become professional players of football in the future but we can always rely on the poor kids in the provinces to be our carrier in Philippine Football.
