    1. The answer is simple.... it's part of the culture of the Philippines... a very showbiz like culture! When something becomes the flavor of the moment, a lot of people love to join the bandwagon!

    2. and alam niyo sino mahilig mag name ng pilipinas as p.i.? mga amboys.
atsaka kaya lang naman naiwan tayo sa football sa mga asean kasi iilang provinces lang naglalaro. same goes for the other asean countries when it comes to basketball.

    3. At least hoops over 100 years na sa pinas at skills ang ngpasikat hindi looks at papogian. Take note, bronze pa sa world cup lol

    4. Naka bronze nga tayo sa Asia dahil since post world war 2 pa tayo nag start sa basketball pero itong football ay nag resurrect this 2000 lng kaya malayo layo pa ang kakainin pero at least umuusad na at siguradong hindi aabutin ng 30 years bago matalo namin ang Korea.

    5. I support other sports. siempre kelangan ng backup sa basketball pag walang PBA at giilas.

    8. You just wait because the next generation after us will play football as it will be the new sports norm and when that happens itong sport na naman ang mananalo palagi at yung b- ball ninyo ay unti unti namang matatalo. Kumbaga weather- weather lng yan..

    9. Only in the Philippines will you get fans of different sports having a go at each other trying to put the other sport down. It's fucking ridiculous and pathetic!!

    10. Fuck the basketball fans wannabe because they always start this "pull down" issue..

For the most part that's true. But you also have a some football fans once in a while (especially the newer ones) that do the exact same thing, as if the development and popularity of one sport has something to do with the other. It's childish and moronic of the highest order to say the least. This is also one of those things where you wonder why people from different countries do think too highly of the Philippines/Filipinos.

  2. Hype because of one lucky outing during tiger cup.
Then with some push for patlami n his wonderful get fil foreign policy we suddenly become champions.

Most team can read our basic tactics.
Sit back n soak the attack and catch our opponents on the counter.
Agaisnt real tactical team this tactics will nvr work.

    1. it will never work? eh yun nga ginawa ni macca kaya nanalo sila noon eh. tangengots amf!

kaya tayo natatalo ngayon against beatable teams ay dahil banban ang kots. di marunong i-maximize ang available talents, resources and support he now has kumpara noon kay macca.
macca or any other coach besides this banban coach would surely not rely on being defensive anymore because ang dami ng options. kaso nga inutil eh, sandamakmak na midfielders kinukuha tapos saktong apat o limang defenders lang. eh dito nga tayo in dire need kasi injured yung most reliable, tapos yung most experienced may edad na rin.

  3. Anto Gonzales is not the right coach for this team.

    2. Ake Pastoral, Dan Padernal, Noel Marcaida, Joel Villarino, Mario Ceniza, Glenn Ramos, Percy Guarin, David Perković and many others who are not playing for UFL. All of them are focus on coaching and not on playing anymore..

    3. Just because Anto is still playing? LOL!

Cge pa i criticize nyo pa ang Football mga basketball super fanatics dahil bawat tweet at post ninyo against our sport is always a good publicity for FOOTBALL , mas lalo itong sumisikat at take note it really is threatening sa stardom ng inyong sport dahil wla na kayong ibang mapasukan na blog at dito nlng sa mga football sites. Hahahah .. it really shows Football is the number one sport in the WORLD!!!
