  1. This inaugural season has turned into a big mess!!

    - Broadcasting was cut short after a very short while.
    - No cup competition which the PFF said there was gonna be one
    - Excessive mid week fixtures which some teams have ended up complaining of
    - The league turned into a quadruple round robin and then there's still gonna a "finals series", pathetic!
    - Games getting cancelled/postponed while others were played at neutral venues
    - Rumors about players such as the ones from Cebu not getting paid even a team or two not paying their "franchise fee"

It's just turn into shit!! Wouldn't be surprised at all if the league didn't return next season!!

    1. You can add low attendances at matches and very weak marketing to that list.

    2. FYI it's not a rumor about the cebu players not getting paid, it's a fact! They are owed salaries from July, August and September.

    4. I cant say where the information came from and id like to stay anomymous as im worried about the repercussions. But i can guarantee 100% these are FACTS! Global players salaries have been a disaster for at least 18 months, maybe longer. But this is the worst its ever been.

  3. Tsk I think the franchise fee is too expensive, considering that very few watch the games..

    1. How much is the Singapore firm's commission from the franchise fee and how much actually goes to the league.

  5. No worries.
    League like shit no problem.
Problem can be solve by recruiting fil-foreign so that our dumb fake fans will think football is on the rise.
Dont know how long this will continue to fool ignorant fans.

    1. Nazis like you think its about drawing in filforeigners to attract the "fake fans". When reality is the organization and marketing of the league. We can have a league of purely pinoy players but its no use if the management and marketing is shit.

The hype of people watching players for their looks is over but the nazi fans seems to still believe this.

  6. U should learn first before shooting ur mouth.
The league should be the first source about cultivating local players.
Seems like it has already fail.
Why bother to market the league. Nobody want to come to see locals.
    More interested to see fil-foreigner.
That y azkals marketing gimmick works wonder and who owns the right.
    Ur beloved fatlami.
Why he dun want to help market the league.
He noes the sick mindset of the people and it not worth it.

    1. What azkals marketing gimmick of Palami which you hate to the bone are you talking about. Global is not the PFL. The Singaporean firm and PFF shouls be faulted for the luckluster marketing.

Nobody wants to see league matches because there is a lack of marketing. The uncertainty of match venues and schedules. That even the "fake fans" after for handsome players are not aware the games or cant schedule to watch games because of uncertainty.

Afaik, there is also a lack of buzz on transfers, speculations, the youth players. Which is part of what makes a league exciting. Or even backstory stories on key playerd especially the locals to introduce them to newer, casual fans. Unlike filforeigners such as the younghusbands, schrock where you can easily find content about them online. The PFL also lacks engagement with their fans beyond just posting results and stats in social media.
