MANILA--Sept. 9 will be a historic day for Ang Liga as they will be the first league to play at the new PFF Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.
To mark the special occasion, the first match to be played will be a match-up between the titleholders in the two oldest collegiate leagues in Division 1 as defending NCAA champions San Beda-A face off against the reigning kings of UAAP football, Ateneo-A, at 3:00 p.m.
Both teams are tied with three points on the table and they will come from long breaks between their last fixtures.
This will just be the second match of the season for the Red Lions after beating Perpetual Help-A in their home turf in Mendiola last Aug. 13.

For the Blue Eagles, this is a great chance to get their campaign back on track after dropping their last assignment to NU last Aug. 19 in Makati, two weeks after opening their season with a close, fight-marred win over UST.

Over at the Lions’ Den in Mendiola, a doubleheader will feature matches in both divisions.
Ateneo and Perpetual Help-B will lock horns at 1:00 p.m. in Division 2, while UP-A takes on UE in a rematch of the Ang Liga Cup final two years ago in the other Division 1 match at 3:00 p.m.
