Former national team standout Patrick Reichelt made a triumphant return from a long injury layoff, scoring twice as Ceres Negros rolled past Ilocos United, 7-0, Saturday in the Philippines Football League at Panaad Stadium in Bacolod City.
After spending the last 11 months recuperating from a serious knee injury, the Filipino-German winger came off the bench to complete the rout for the Busmen, who moved up to fourth in the table with their fifth win in eight matches.
OJ Porteria also scored two goals, while Stephan Schrock came up with another brilliant individual display with the opening goal and a superb assist to Jeffrey Christiaen’s for the Busmen’s second goal in the 24th minute.
