  1. Bakit pasok ung global sa group stage? Jst askin..I know na champion sila sa ufl pero ufl is not under pff(correct if I'm wrong)..pero ung ceres who won twice in the pff- smart cup will play for play-off?

    4. yes its a legit question. let's hope pff will iron out the system. perhaps ceres has a greater chance than global fc to get past the play-off stage. hehe (arguably unfair for ceres fc). Yet this is still a good news for the growth of club football in our country.

  4. Ganun po talaga...kahit saan ka uefa ang league champions will most likely occupy the higher spot. Global kasi ang league champs. Ceres is the cup champions (ung pff championship ang considered na cup comp) so sa playoff stage sila. either way sana pumasok ceres para 2 sila sa group stage..:)

  7. AFC Cup is an annual international association football competition between domestic clubs run by the members of AFC. PFF doesn't run the UFL.

  8. How are either of the club's representatives for the AFC Cup anyway? PFF nor UFL dictated before the start of any of their competitions that winners of either cup would represent the Philippines. How can you then dictate after the fact that because you won something you represent for AFC Cup?

What's the point of the upcoming Smart Cup in January that was rescheduled then?

  9. 2012 panalo ang Global sa UFL nag petition sila sa AFC to compete in AFC President's cup. Thus they competed even though Ceres won the Smart Cup in January 2013.

2013 they lost the championship to Stallions. Global changes their registration from NCR to Leyte last minute to compete in the Smart Cup kasi sabi winner ng Smart Cup ang representative. Panalo Ceres so mid 2014 sila nag represent sa AFC President's cup.

Papalit palit lang lagi ng PFF and rules. Pati Smart Cup 2014 nag pa reschedule to January 2015.

  13. i guess the smart cup champs will represent us next year? along with the champion of the next ufl league? ang problem lang naman nila for now is kulang yyng filipino players. sabi sa rules only maximun of 4 na foreign players out of 30-man squad. tapos yung 4 na yun, yung isa dapat asian. kung hindi 3 non-asian lang pwede.
