  1. There's an article about 3 or 4 posts below this vid that ask whether this time will be "History or Heartbreak?" Apparently it's history of heartbreaks again for our Azkals... Something needs to be done for our MNT. We should stop playing lower ranking teams for friendlies. I think the wins we get from those type of friendlies gave us a false sense of readiness and competitiveness. In fact it diminishes our competitive edge which is not much to begin with. I remember one article some time ago about the possibility of one high ranking European national team wanting to play us as part of their Asia tour. But someone, I think it was Dan Palami, who said that we don't want to play those type of teams because we will surely lose and may damage our morale. Wow!!! So we play low ranking teams and keep winning to feel good. That is until we get humiliated in games that counts... Time for a change in philosophy in how to prepare our team. We need to play teams that are fast, technical, and poised to win every match they play. It's better to lose in the friendlies than lose in a tourney..

    2. That was a wasted opportunity I can't believe we turned down a chance to play a quality team like Hungary.

    3. Oh we had a chance to play Hungary and we turned it down? Geez!!! I know Dooley was hoping we can have a couple of friendlies with either Canada or the US before opting to have another camp in the Middle East again instead of the US and play Nepal again. Of course we won. But of course Nepal isn't the USMNT or even Canada. That was again another type of marketing move instead of a real preparation for the team. Them constantly having camps in the Middle East, I think, is more like GMA's Eat Bulaga, or ABS's Showtime doing international tours... It's all for a show!!! We need real test to see where we really stand. Our ranking is achieved only by playing many friendlies, but does not really reflect our true strenght. Time for a change. And maybe this time it's Palami that needs to go since he's been the one that's been constant since the revamp, other the a few players of course. Maybe he's ways are only good for semis or friendlies. Heck, we all know that the Azkals is a brand, and a brand is a company, and a company has a CEO, and the CEO of course is Dan Palami. Well, this business isn't really going any better under his guidance anymore so maybe it's time to change the CEO... Bring in new ideas... Look, I know I'm kinda singling out Palami, I don't dislike him or hate him, I just think it's time to reshuffle things because we haven't progressed since the 2010 resurgence. That's all we have just resurgence in our football program and resurgence in the awareness of football in our country. But other than those, we havene't progressed much. Thanks Dan for bringing football back on the map, but it's time to change manager for the MNT...

  2. Too bad the Azkals is privatized and Palami was given powers by the PFF honchos that even the Technical Director has no say to whatever Dan would decide. Many people doesn't know there's a division inside the PFF because of this Azkals privatization as Palami is in charge of national teams including the Youth Teams where the manager is always coming from him. I think he has plans to make football a big business but only to himself as no input are going to the PFF office after he sought sponsorships , donations advertisements and promotions from the Men's to the Little Azkals. The PFF is also dependent on him always content on sitting without any actions on how to create funds or academies for our future stars of this country. They always rely on Palami's initiative of financing the various age groups of our national teams.
