Undermanned Kaya salvages draw against Pachanga in spotty officiating-marred game

AN undermaned Kaya FC overhauled a late deficit to salvage a 1-1 draw against Pachanga-PLDT Home Fibr on Saturday in another United Football League match marred by spotty officiating at the Emperador Stadium in Mckinley Hill.
Without suspended OJ Porteria and injured Chris Greatwich, Kaya turned to a second-half goal from Miguel Tanton to equalize and escape with the stalemate.
Although the result hiked its point total to 21, the third-running side contiuned to slip from the title race with leaders Loyola and Global FC gaining more cushion.
Still, the comeback was admirable, although not even that could stop Kaya coach David Perkovic from slamming the "disgusting" officiating anew for what he felt were dubious offside calls.
"I'm sick and tired of the officiating," said the Australian mentor, who even had some choice words for referee Ariel Montaña after the match.
Pachanga took a point from the result for a total of 11, but still moved down a spot to seventh after Green Archers United's win over Pasargad earlier in the day.
