    1. Its really crap when they put the Azkals logo instead of PFF. Thats not even the original Azkals logo. ignorant people, dont know when to use the monicker and shit

    2. "Original azkals logo"??? There is no "original"! The only logo that counts is that of the PFF.

  2. please don't let araneta play because his style and tempo does not match for international games!!!

  3. I just only knew that Filipinos are baring to the whole world that we are "jejemons", we can't even spell ASKALS right! damn true, the PFF is now a puppet of the AZKALS, they can't even impose on them on what logo to be used. Goodbye on the term "Philippine National Team", hello jejemon Azkals!

    1. It's not just the the constant use of the term azkals but people say "Philippine azkals" or "PHL azkals". There's also that other azkals logo that makes them seem like its azkals football club and not the national team! Ang baho na nga ng pangalan, lagi lagi nalang ginagamit at may logo pa!!

Anyway...... it will most likely be a draw, 1-1, if not then a Malaysia win, 2-1.

  5. Jason Sabio ‏ @Jsabio3
@abscbnsports It's not Azkals vs Malaysia. It's Philippines vs. Malaysia.

    ABS-CBN Sports ‏ @abscbnsports
@Jsabio3 Yes, we are tweeting it as "Philippines vs. Malaysia". TV plugs and others though mention Azkals, wc we dont control. Good luck!

    1. Hah! Even the players have a problem with all this azkals crap everywhere crap! Good to see!

What Sabio should also tell ABS-CBN is that they should get rid of all those azkals logos that they use when televising the games.

    2. Another thing... if ABS-CBN says it the "correct" way of "Philippines vs Malaysia", then why do they advertise it as "azkals vs Malsaysia" on Studio23??

  7. Don't tell me they're gonna be wearing that hideous azkals kit for this match! FFS!!

  8. if all goes normal, Malaysia will be a number to big for the Philippine NT...unfortunately....without the missing players the team is 30-40% weaker. But just hope they will give the Malays a good and tough fight and keep the result in a narrow margin. Anyway: N-Korea got a draw 1-1 in Tajikistan......so another hint what hard task our NT will face by March 9.

  9. Azkals lineup: GK: Etheridge DEF: Sabio, L. Guirado, De Murga, Jonsson MID: De Jong, Moy, Angel, JYH ATT: PYH & Wolf

First time they are fielding a team without any homegrown in Philippines....

  10. do we have a new kit provider?

    1. It seems like we do. The U-21's are also wearing it. LGR Athletic Wears. It looks like a really cheap brand.... I don't like.

  14. Denis Wolf just said that he won't be going to Nepal!

  15. Seems that he is not beeing released by his club for AFC Challenge Cup. Dont really understand why he played in today`s friendly if he is not going to Nepal ? Wasn`t this friendly final preparations for AFC Challenge Cup ?

  16. :( I hope Denis Wolf will be playing for the AFC cup as well as Neil Etheridge..

  17. hope also more Euro player can join...the starting line-up made a good job today. just when the subs came in we start to struggle....i guess with our full squad we had shot Malaysia clearly home today....at the end the 1-1 is deserved for both sides (phi good 1st half, always dangerous Malays in 2nd)

  18. Was it Araneta or Angeles who came in as sub?? I wonder why bring in Angeles when he was with the U21 team. Where is the focus?

    ReplyDelete
  19. I think both came in as sub.... Maybe Angeles leaving for Nepal on Friday and not going back to Brunei

  20. Who did Araneta replace ? Difficult to get official match info from the friendly. Easier when it is a UFL div 2 league match ! when will PFF get a website ???

    1. Araneta replaced Wolf. Im sorry but Araneta should not be on the MNT anymore. I prefer Nate Burkey than Araneta

  21. besides our good result: Indonesia got hammered today by Bahrain 10-0 which is the highest defeat ever in our neighbours NT history. I guess a fact that they will have to swallow first...also Singapore got crushed 7-1 in Iraq.

  22. you are right Ben, Araneta might be good in the UFL but for international games, his skills does not match with the others. Besides, his body structure, speed and strategy is only good for local games. I hope the coaches can find somebody to replace araneta. Wither he is local or Fil-foreign player, as long as he plays good football!!!

    1. Not only get rid of Araneta but they need to get rid of Roel Gener!!

      Delete
    2. yeah, both got their merrits in the past but no it's time to make space for better players. I claim we would have won vs. Malaysia if we substituted other, better players. I mean good old Roel Gener is 37 and as defender he has a hard time against such speed forwards like Malaysia has to offer. Also Ian just runs, seeming like he has no idea where he shall run....

      Delete
    3. What's worse is that Gener isn't even a defender, specifically a full back. To add to that he's 37!!!! ffs!!

  23. And Araneta tripped again. I don't know if any of you saw it.
