UFL stars to grace Sinulog Cup

PLAYERS from the United Football League will arrive today to grace the awarding ceremonies of the 2nd Sinulog Football Festival.
The group will be led by Global Smartmatic goalkeeper and Cebuano Paolo Pascual with teammate Fil-Iranian Misagh Bahadoran.

Joining them is Mark Hartmann from Meralco Loyola Sparks, Lexton Moy from Kaya FC and Nestorio Margarse from the Philippine Army.
They have a scheduled “meet and greet” with the fans and supporters as they tour in different venues.
Their first stop will be at the San Roque Football Field before heading to University of San Carlos - Talamban Field where the men’s open is played.
After that, the boys will be at the Cebu City Sports Center to award the winning teams of the Players 6 to Boys 17 divisions.
UFL Technical Director Richie Gannaban and marketing manager Michael Torre will also be flying in with the players in the first provincial coverage of Aksyon TV under TV 5.
The players won’t be staying for long as they are booked to go back to Manila tonight to resume practices with their respective teams as the UFL season is set to open on Jan. 14.
