Earlier this week, Ceres-Negros FC dismantled the varsity team of Ceres-La Salle FC, 5-0.
“It’s good for my team because very seldom they can play quality team like Ceres,” said La Salle head coach Norman Fegidero following the loss. “It can help the players evaluate themselves [as to] where they are now, quality-wise, in football.”
“They have quality players,” he remarked about Ceres-Negros FC.
Fegidero singled out Fernando Rodríguez, a newly-signed striker from FC Cartagena, which plays in the Segunda División B of the Spanish football league, calling him “a good striker.”/
