Azkals updates Tuesday

Roland Müller played full match when his Swiss club won 3-1 away in Swiss league tonight. Next league match is Nov 24. No confirmation if he will play in Manila on Nov 14 and in AFF Suzuki group stage. He will miss two matches for his club if he is playing in AFF Suzuki Cup in Vietnam.

Mike Ott is not on the list of players who will get a international this week reported his German club website. Mike was in the AFF Suzuki Cup preliminary squad list for Azkals but is likely not going to be in AFF Suzuki Cup.

Jerry Lucena , did not play against Thailand but his Danish club website reported that he earlier that he is ready for AFF Suzuki Cup.

Mark Hartmann got flu and did not go to Thailand

  2. Mike Ott i guess is busy proving himself that he's ready to get out of B team of his club. He left 1860 Munich because they would not give him a chance to play in their A team (2.Bundesliga) regardless of his superb stats in B team (Regionaliga). But unfortunately his new club Nurnberg has been doing the same to him. Mike soon turns 20, which in these days is not really a young age to play in the the 2nd-tier league. As a highly acclaimed prospect, he may be very frustrated right now and i don't think he will join Azkals until he finally establishes his position in the A team.

  3. I was surprised that Neil was in the preliminary squad list , maybe the list was sent to AFF before he got a contract with Oldham . Dont think he will be in AFF Suzuki Cup.
