No tv coverage for UFL ?

Seems that there will be no tv coverage for UFL in the opening matches of UFL , and possibly for the whole UFL season ?

Last season UFL matches were broadcasted  on Aksyon tv on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  3. Of course. Pinoys cnt identify coz of too many fil foreigners. They need locals but locals are playing basketball

  4. So called "true fans" doesn't want bandwagon fans to be with them. Mission accomplished guys, kayo-kayo na lang ulit tulad ng before Miracle of Hanoi. Tapos 2 faction pa kayo. Those "true fans" don't wanna absorb new fans, sila-sila lang daw magagaling at karapat-dapat eh. Its done.

  6. TV coverage will be for Tuesday and Thursday games. The new weekend games of the 1st division will not be televised to encourage fans with their families to come to the matches and watch games live.

    1. Is this a spelling bee or what? Lol ha ha ur fil shams idol cant even speak english lmao. U should teach them since ur too good ha ha.

    2. Fil shams are obvious to know because they always find spelling as serious issue in the blog when they don't have anymore thing to say about they don't know. All they type is about explicit words which are being feed to them by US culture everyday.

  9. Guys don't get balat sibuyas. The observation that football is overvis quite plausible. Just look at attendance at ufl games only family members watch at the stands and its not even half full. Entrance is free when they start charging expect them to turn away. Then sponsors will disappear. Azkals games in Manila is not the hottest ticket anymore thats why they brought the games back to Bacolod. The RMS got a facelift and a new all weather pitch but its going to deteriorate when the ufl dies. Next thing you know they will turn it into a mall to get back expenses oh such a waste. Then you try hard fans will have no bandwagon to hate and nothing to cheer about during the suzuki cup. Football is dead. Its done.

    1. Observation mo lng yan Anonymous9 January 2014 07:20 pero kulang ka pa rin sa factual basis dahil kahit na wla na ang ang UFL ay may bago naman na darating which is more bigger and nationwide televised because of ABS-CBN coverage in 2015 or 2016. It will be sanctioned by AFC and bankrolled by FIFA in the first 2-3 years and will have a spot in the AFC Champions League. Mag research ka muna bago ka mag post dito dahil ang alam mo lng na word is dead which is fit for you as brain dead! U fooolllllll!!!

    2. AFC Champions league?

    4. Kawawa nman football is a fringe sport in pinas. Parang sa usa. Pero ok lng kc usa is the epicenter of sports. Gayahin ntin usa. Europe nman kc di sila ngdudictate ng uso. USA p din

    5. Ikaw ang kawawa dahil uso lng pala ang hanap mo kaya american junk mentality ka. I presumed you watch too many hours of american movies and sports that's why you are brainwashed by the idea that US is the epicenter of sports ? oh come on, you are not a puppet of american media boy, you are a filipino and has a pride to show the world that we can.

  10. We've been hearing about the UFL dying since day 1 in 2009. The UFL has done the right thing in bringing back weekend games even if they are not televised because kids can come and watch. It is very hard for me to bring my kids to a game on a Tuesday or Thursday night because of school the next day. Football died in the Philippines in the 60's. The Azkals was the re-birth in 2010 so the game is just 3 years old in our country. Give the child a break folks and nurture its re-birth. Haters will be haters will be haters.....surely there are more lovers out there than haters. I'm a lover. How about you?

    1. I generally agree with you, and since there is going to be a triple round robin format then it's not so bad if the teams miss one of the two televised games.

But no televised games AT ALL is going to be the death of the sport because of the missing money. So far I only believe that it's these stupid haters spreading rumors, but something makes me think they might be true this time.

    2. I agree that if TV is lost that would be a massive blow and would turn the clock back at least 3 years. Lets wait to see and if we start to see games on TV next week this should calm the haters nerves.

  11. I will only suport football if majority are pure pinoys. Just imagine foreigners from first world countries who have more opportunities in their country earn more than poor filipino lads. They wont get my money and so should you give yours as well.

    1. Diba may foreigner rule na yung UFL? 6 pinoys on the field. Majority na yan. Come and watch the games na!

    2. No. I dont want fil-foreigners too. We should limit them too.

    3. Aetas League ang gusto mo? Yun lang ang "pure pinoy"....

  15. The rule should be 5 pure pinoys and 6 fil foreigner / foreigner limit on the field

  16. The rumor is false! See Bob Guerrero's blog for more about that.

As was said, only the tuesday and thursday games will be televised, but since this season is going to be in triple round robin format, it isn't a loss at all. It's more of a win since the games are now more fan friendly!

  17. Latest : Tuesday matches will be televised on Aksyon tv . Thursday matches from March.
