LOL but no worries, cuz foreign countries will endlessly provide half filipino mercenaries
ReplyDeleteNeed to overhaul the team from coaches to players, just like what Palami did to UP basketball
ReplyDeleteGastanes Araneta or Palami do something about this
Super useless team I know they can be better than that but they aren't
Coaches don't insert winning mentality to the young players
For what is skill and aptitude if they don't want to win?
Just came there to play games? How are they supposed to win with that mindset?
Like in Basketball
ReplyDeleteHoy PFF Gising naman dyan!!! Mula Gen. Sec , Technical Director hanggang coaching staff. Mahiya naman kayo!!! Kapal muks talaga kayo!!!
There are professions where the Filipinos are good at. In coaching sports, we are not good at all. Is there a school offereing degress in coaching sports here in the Philippines? Wala, di ba. Tingnan mo sa Europe, USA. Accept reality man. Our coaches suck especially those in sports that are not popular in the Philippines. Even in basketball na popular sports at may pera, we have Tab Baldwin, Norman Black.,etc
Kung kaya naman, why not go for the best mapa-foreign o pilipino ang coach.
wow rout...
ReplyDeletehalf Brazilian or Portuguese trained timor leste beatdown sa RP eleven U16.
top Priority of PFF is the senior team.
iniisip nila dyan sa PFF it will turn-off or discourage local sponsors kung mag switch ng allegiance yung ibang youth players once they reach 23 yrs old.
although Sato played for Global..
the problem is the system, "bata bata" system.Coach Mari is a good coach but not good enough for Nationals much more International level of coaching. he must prove himself in the local scene first before taking the challenge of coaching the national team!
ReplyDeletesecondly Caslib, the technical director for the youth has done a terrible job, its time for the new breed of coaches to shine. he had his chance to prove himself but failed! just see the standing of our win-loss record for our youth level. not just the U16 but the whole youth level of competition.
this team trained intensively for the AFF but lost all their games. Now here comes the AFC and you had more time and preparation and still manage to lose 2 games in a row in a very shameful score line! then something is wrong! the whole team should be ashamed of themselves, please don"t tell me to let the kids hold their heads high for representing our country. when they did nothing to make us proud. maybe if your the parent of one of the kid, you might be proud for his inclusion to the team, "wow Philippine team yung anak ko", but their is more to that. It's about winning, this is the international level of competition, it is not your training ground or get your experience on the international level. they should let the best of the best represent our country!
ReplyDeleteWhy the fuss? Who the fuck cares about youth football? We have Europe, America, Australia and all around the world that provide us half filipino mercenaries and they will be recruited for the national team anyway so we don't need grassroots or whatever that cost a lot or money and effort. Philippines Style baby!
DeleteWhat kind of Phlippine team loses to Timor Leste 9-0?
ReplyDeletePatience lang. Darating in tayo sa higher level. Tingnan mo yung swimming, tennis, basketball, etc. Since Vietnam, we have so many people are now following local football. How many new football fields - grass and plastic turf do we have now compared to previously
ReplyDeleteAgree with Anon 14 Sep 18:59: So what if we use foreign born Pinoys? Dada nang dada tayo na we are Global Pinoys oh heto global na tayo, di ba? Let's first make the sports more and more popular then the sponsors will come. Dan Palami is not interested in the youth because he has no budget for it. He is not like Manny Pangilinan in basketball.
Lahat yun All-Filipino tapos ngayon sasabihin nyo dapat taga ibang bansa dahil magaling silang lahat?
ReplyDelete1990s pa yun eh
DeleteTsaka if you looked at it, nasustain ba nila yung pagiging 3rd sa SEA Games in coming years?
Being a Football player wasn't even a profession back then
May game ang U16 ngayon against Malaysia. Bakit wlang news? dahil ba dalawang talo na? Ibalita nyo naman manalo o matalo...
