THE Philippine Women's College (PWC) of Davao bagged the 2010 Oscar Mora Cup Ladies Football crown at the University of the Philippines (UP) Mindanao campus recently.
Davao Football Association (DFA) secretary Erwin Protacio on Monday said PWC swept all their games in convincing fashions.
PWC crushed Catalunan Grande, 6-0, before whipping UP Mindanao, 4-0, and thrashing Holy Child School of Davao, 7-0, in the round robin competition.
The team is bannered by Sheena Casimiro, July Bunac, June May Bunac, Cherry Vilchez, Mary Jane Zamora, Cherry Samblaceno, Alvin Rose Pardillo, Analee Abadilla, Almarie Buluran, Lovely Fajardo and Pramie Musico with coach Alvin Troyo at the helm.
Catalunan Grande took the runner-up honors while UP Mindanao placed third.
July Bunac was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Sheena Casmiro copped the best goalkeeper award in the event sanctioned by Davao Football Association (DFA) and organized by Siki ni Oble and the CWTS class of the Department of Kinetics.
