PFF Statement On Terry Butcher

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) accepts with understanding the announcement of Coach Terry Butcher not to proceed as head coach of the National Team of the Philippines.
We wish Mr. Butcher good luck.
The PFF will continue with the necessary team preparations for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 this November and the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 in January 2019.

  1. That's it?!? Such a short statement from the PFF. They didn't even officially declare that Scott Cooper is being put in charge whether it's as interim or permanently.

  2. Based on the Belfast Telegraph newpaper Terry Bucher pulled out of the deal with the PFF because he had misgivings about the systems in place. Butcher’s statement was spot on without a doubt. Without an effective system in place I agree it will be very difficult for him or anyone else to achieve his goals.
