The Men’s National Team are scheduled for an International Friendly Match against Bahrain at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bocaue, Bulacan on 07 October 2016. Kick-off time and ticket details will be announced soon.
The National Team has past encounters with 126th ranked Bahrain with a 2-1 win on the first meeting, and a 2-0 loss on the second leg of the 2018 FIFA World Cup RussiaTM – Asian Qualifiers / AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019TM –Preliminary Joint Qualification Round 2. Philippines drew Bahrain 0-0 in 2012 and lost 2-1 in 2015, both on international friendlies in Bahrain’s home soil.
The match falls on the FIFA Friendly match calendar scheduled 03-11 October 2016. The National team plays Turkmenistan on 02 September 2016 in Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan and the Kyrygz Republic on 06 September in Bishkek, Kyrygzstan, both on friendly matches.
