Two Negrenses recently joined the 30-person pool in the U16 Women’s National Team training camp at The Villages in Clark, Pampanga in preparation for the AFC U16 Women’s Championship 2017 Qualifiers.
Tejanee Marie Isulat and Christine Dale Nemenzo Pañares were both called up for national team training.
The Philippines was drawn in Group B, with South Korea, India, Malaysia, and the Northern Marianas Islands, set to compete from August 28 to September 5 in Weifang, China. The team that finishes atop the group qualifies for the final tournament.
North Korea are the current defending champions./
