Dynamic Herb Cebu FC comfortably collected their first 3 points of the season at home after defeating PFL returnee Loyola FC 4-0 at the Dynamic Herb Sports Complex.
Copa Paulino Alcantara 2023 Golden Boot winner Abou Sy and Surinamese forward Zamoranho Ho-A-Tham netted two goals each as last season’s runners-up Dynamic Herb Cebu FC marked their first win of the season on home turf.
Abou Sy opened the scoring for both sides with an inside-the-box strike in the 35th minute.
Zamoranho Ho-A-Tham doubled Cebu FC’s lead by opening his goal account for Cebu through a screamer outside the box in the 45th minute.
Sy and Ho-A-Tham both concluded their braces through set pieces. The Senegalese striker recorded his second goal with a penalty in the 48th minute early in the second half.
It was a direct free kick over the Loyola wall in the 60th minute that gave the Surinamese forward his brace. A curl from outside the box stunned the Loyola goalkeeper over the line.
