In an unfortunate turn of events, the match between JPV Marikina FC vs Davao Aguilas FC on October 22. 2017 was ruled in favor of Aguilas with an end score of 0-3.
Reason of which is that the supposed ambulances that were meant to be in Rizal Sports Complex had gotten into an accident on their way to the stadium. Please refer to the incident report Stat Med Emergency Health Solutions, Inc sent to us for the specifics:

So Informative thanks for sharing Admin !
ReplyDeleteIf the ambulances did not manage to reach the venue due to an accident, why forfeit the match in favor of Aguilas instead of just rescheduling the match?
ReplyDeleteI agree, the decision to forfeit the match in favor of Davao Aguilas is harsh considering that the there was no negligence on the part of JPV and the accident that occurred was beyond one’s control. If they were to be penalized a fine would be just and the match should have been rescheduled.
ReplyDeleteThis is the 2nd match that JPV lost due to forfeiture. JPV vs Kaya FC Makati held last May 27 was awarded to Kaya FC due to JPV STADIUM UNAVAILABILITY. In this particular case the decision of forfeiture was justified until the September 16 match between Davao Aguilas and Ceres Negros FC. The match was played at the Rizal Memorial Stadium due to the Davao Aguilas home STADIUM UNAVAILABILITY. Why was one match forfeited and the other match was allowed to be played on a neutral ground?
Curiously, the incident report regarding the ambulance accident which was previously posted in the JPV official website was later taken down by JPV “upon request” ---no mention on why and who requested to take down the report ------ suspicious request….
