15 OCT MATCH PREVIEW: GLOBAL CEBU FC VS JPV MARIKINA FC

Fourth-placed Global Cebu FC look to solidify their place in the top four with a match against JPV Marikina tonight 15 October, 7:00 PM at the Cebu City Sports Centre in Cebu.
Cebu came close on securing a point against Ceres Negros FC last time out only to be denied by a Stephan Schrock goal to go down to fourth place.
Global’s campaign has been all about dealing with issues. Misagh Bahadoran and Amani Aguinaldo are out due to injuries while Rufo Sanchez and Darryl Roberts are suspended for the match.
Still Global coach Akbar Nawas hopes that his team can turn things around.
“We have been dealing with several issues for the entire season,” said Nawas. “But what is important is that we want to be in the playoffs.”
Marikina coach Dan Padernal admits that there are his side, along with Global and Stallion are battling for a spot in the Finals Series.
“It’s us (JPV), Global and Stallion for the last playoff spot,” said Padernal. “We have to be tactically disciplined. Playing against Global in front of their home crowd is a different story.”
