The road to the National Finals begins tomorrow, January 17, 2026, as San Carlos City officially opens the PFF U16 Regional Championship (Visayas Qualifiers). Five of the region’s best youth teams are set to battle at the SJRI Football Ground, but the pressure is at an all-time high: only the top two finishers will earn a coveted ticket to the National Finals.

Representing the home province is the Negros Occidental Regional Football Association (NORFA), composed of the elite youth talent from San Carlos City Negros Football Club (SCCNFC), STIWNU, UNO-R, ADA-Bacolod, & ADA-Pontevedra. The local boys will have the weight on their shoulders as they look to utilize home-field advantage to secure one of those two qualifying slots.
