Perth: Sam Kerr and Caitlin Foord starred with hat-tricks as Australia cruised to an 8-0 win over the Philippines in their AFC Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament - Asian Qualifiers Round 2 Group A fixture at the Perth Rectangular Stadium on Sunday.
The Matildas led from start to finish, taking a 5-0 lead going into the break to make it two wins from two.

Australia, who defeated Islamic Republic of Iran 2-0 on Thursday, hit the ground running with Foord set up the first goal in the 15th minute for Mary Fowler before helping Kerr four minutes later.
The Philippines struggled to match Australia’s pace with Foord scoring two quick-fire goals in the 30th and 33rd minutes before Kerr added the fifth in the closing stages of the half.
Kerr completed her hat-trick a minute after the restart, heading home the sixth goal courtesy of Fowler’s cross into the box with Foord scoring her third of the evening in the 56th minute.
Clare Wheeler then etched her name on the scoresheet, scoring her first-ever goal for the Matildas in the 72nd minute after calmly collecting Ellie Carpenter’s cross before slotting home.
