The Philippine Girls Under-16 team had a rough start in the AFC U-16 Women’s Championship 2019 Qualifiers second round after yielding to Bangladesh, 10-0, last Wednesday 27 February 2019 at the Mandalar Thiri Stadium in Mandalay, Myanmar.
Bangladesh raced to a 6-0 scoreline at the half before adding four more goals in the second half to complete the rout.
The Philippines next face China PR on Friday 1 March 2019. The top two teams at the end of the second round will advance to the final round this September.
