  1. Such a drab game! It's like watching a Sunday league match!

  2. Horrible! They say the PFF decided to send a hastily assembled senior team to return the favor to Chinese Taipei Football Association when they gave us chance to play friendlies in the Long Teng Cup.

But decided to send this national team with Maro under helm. I say its such a disrepect to the host. Should have sent the fifth placer in the PFL instead if they are okay with club teams or don't participate at all.

  3. Talo na naman. Maro underestimated Timor Leste. He should have played YH first, then pulled them after scoring. Instead of playing them at the later part of the second half. Lots of chances but the other team already gained confidence.

  4. Embarrassing performance, embarrassing result!! Also some hilarious stuff from Miyagi in the 87th minute. Can't even control the ball and tripping over himself! Just shows none of them apart from the Younghusband brothers are good enough for the national team and international football!

  5. Halatang may palakasan talaga! Sa huli pinalaro pa yung bunsong Cheng! Pathetic!

  7. PFF is to blaim for this embarrassment. And Maro, please do not coach the Aguilas next year ok? Aguilas deserves better.

    1. Why does Gary Phillips, the previous coach of Aguilas sacked anyway? Cheng is also a problem

  9. how disrespectful pff/maro to underestimate timor, are you really a coach (maro) to let the kids play against big guy? system is not consistent with the NT...gigil mo si ako tawa ka pa more, walang silbi yang afc license mo hahaga

    1. Starting year 2010 FIFA mandated all Member Associations (MA) to hire a full time Technical Director to be able to qualify to receive FIFA’s annual grant which is supposed to be used for various development programs, salaries and other expenses related to football activities under the authority of the respective MAs.

FIFA Jurg Nepfer, former head of FIFA Development Programs stated “Technical Directors play a very important role in developing football and what they do is very different to that of the general secretary. This is why FIFA believe it is crucial that MAs hire full time technical directors to lead the way. They cannot double as national coaches, must have the right technical qualifications and should be working only for the MA.”

Maro and Caslib have never been full time TDs, Caslib as TD was and is still coaching San Beda Football Team and recently FC Meralco Manila, Maro coaches De La Salle-College of St. Benilde Football Team, Davao Aguilas FC and doubles as national coach. This is why football is where we are today. Greedy, greedy, greedy!

  12. REALITY OF THE FOOTBALL WHERE YOU OVER RELY ON FIL-FOREIGNER.
EVEN UFL TOP TEAMS ARE FILLED WITH FIL-FOREIGN.
WHO STARTED THIS CONCEPT OF QUICK FIX SOLUTIONS OF TAKING FIL-FOREIGN??

    1. It's not really the Fil-foreigners fault. They are not a magic pill. Its more on the staff.

Exhibit A. Davao Aguilas of Cheng and Maro. Even if they bring in lots of Fil-for and some national team mainstays with the dismal managing staff added with nespotism, the club remained a joke.

Cheng and Maro's squad and club shows what's everything wrong in Philippine football

    2. The recruitment of Fil-foreigners by the PFF is just a cover up for the absence of a real and meaningful long term development program. The PFF and its national team officials most of the time just sits back and cast their eyes world-wide looking for Fil-foreigners who have grown up and become successful athletes in foreign countries under obviously superior foreign coaching systems instead of doing the hard work of training local athletes and having a grassroots program that is comprehensive and proven effective.

  13. Nothing against Fil-Foreigners as that's what it took to get more kids playing football and more Filipinos become fans of the game. It's just a catalyst, and should not be the long-term policy.

Apparently the PFF did not even consult Dooley, Palami and the rest of the senior staff. But the PFF already plans to send Maro and co as the "senior team" back when the Azkals were in Nepal. The PFF doesn't respect the original senior staff at all. It's a disrepect to the Chinese Taipei football federation too.

Embarassing! The PFF website released a report when we win over Laos but they were mum following the two losses.

  15. The most embarrassing result since the 13-1 loss to Indonesia in 2002!

    ReplyDelete
  16. it's a total disrespect to coach dooley and to the senior te management. hindi pala nila alam ang planong to. sana davao aguilas nlng pinalaro nyo. na apektohan pa ranking at morale ng mnt natin. they should be fired for this time for the new management for PFF. sana mka bawi pa ang mnt before the tajikistan match to gain morale and confidence.

  18. If we have to blame somebody, it must be Jefferson Cheng, for his personal agenda of promoting his two sons and trying to put his influence into the PFF MNT. I bet he used his money to convince Araneta to OK the trip and roster.

    1. Jefferson Cheng and Dan Palami are the same type people. They have their own agenda! PFF is also to blame for having this type of setup where they appoint a sugar daddy as team manager and from there they let that person to their own devices. It's bullshit!

Palami in particular puro satsat!! Always trying to make it look like he knows better and that he's the good guy. He even takes to Twitter with shit like "time for drastic action" tapos wala naman follow up!! Mga tanga ampota!

    2. leo rey yanson of ceres negros fc nlng sana nxt manager ng azkals. at kumuha ng magaling na coach like coach risto vidakovic caliber.

    4. Cheng manages and has bankrolled the Philippine national teams U16, U19, U22 and the women’s team for several years now. Cheng uses his wealth to gain personalized power and influence to get his own way in the PFF.

The Chinese Taipei Football Association (CTFA) International Tournament demonstrates this clearly. Cheng did not even bother to consult the national team management ignoring the proper protocol and this of course with the blessing of the PFF. Money indeed talks and you can get away with anything if you are a Jeff Cheng.
