If he isn’t allowed to play back in the Philippines, why is Global FC striker Rufino Sanchez allowed to play in the RHB Singapore Cup?
That’s the question Tanjong Pagar United want the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) to answer, ahead of their Singapore Cup semi-final, second-leg match against Global at the Jalan Besar Stadium tonight.
Sanchez played the full 90 minutes of the first leg – a 2-2 draw at the Queenstown Stadium on Monday night – but the Jaguars are now saying he should not have been allowed to.

ReplyDeleteSanchez loan to Global ended last August 10. He played in the semis with Global FC in the Singapore Cup without seeking the approval of his club Stallion FC and in defiance of UFL Disciplinary Committee directives. .
