Pachanga out to keep solid impression vs PSG

By Karlo Sacamos

PACHANGA-Diliman tries to continue making waves under the radar as it battles PSG Saturday night in the United Football League at the Emperador Stadium in Taguig.
In its maiden top flight campaign, the 2012 Division 2 rulers have been making a solid impression despite playing most of their games on Saturdays, a day when a single Division 1 match is played and untelevised.
And the fifth-running squad, with 18 points to show, hopes to overtake Kaya and move to solo fourth once it emerges from its 8 p.m. meeting with PSG.
Pachanga, which lost to Loyola Meralco last time, 4-1, is expected to lean on Guamanian internationals Jason Cunliffe, Marcus Lopez, and Ian Mariano in facing a seventh-ranked PSG squad that’s out to snap a two-game skid.
A win for PSG, which welcomes the return of two standout booters in striker Emmanuel Mbata and goalkeeper Reza Ataei, will vault the squad past Nomads for sixth place.
