North Negros Football League (NFL) match commissioner Ramon Janeo, after a successful staging of 1st conference won by Dynamic Builders against Ceres Liner, 5-4 recently held at Ayala North Football Field in Talisay City.
Dynamic Builder won the title against Ceres Liner in a pulsating fashion of so-called "loss-game" early in the first half but came back on time before the close of the match with the score ended in 1-all at regulation. An extra period of 20-minute was called but still the score remain tie which resulted to a shootout.
Ceres Liner could have wrapped up the title in the shootout after its strikers hit successively but missed the next two tries. Dynamic last two strikers hit their marks to once again tie the score. Ceres missed the two tries and Dynamic’s two strikers hit their marks that seal the win.
Janeo said, the second conference tentatively set May 28 as he expects some changes but for sure he said the tournament will start June 2, 2013.
Six teams are set to compete again; Dynamic, Ceres, Tri Maxi-Agro, Silver Dragon, Las Buenas Football Club and Real Negrense.* (CMGarde)
