  1. Yeah, better replace Barbaso with Jonsson.

Correction: Margarse plays for Army not Air Force

  2. why doesnt jonsson replace an injured chieffy caligong instead? or an ageing roel gener? or nestorio margarse who is also over the hill?

  3. Margarse, Gener, Araneta, an injured Caligdong (although I'm still not a fan of his even if he's fit), too many goalkeepers.... all absolutely useless!! And why is Angeles there? What has he proven to be part of the senior squad?!?

  4. this is the internal politics that Weiss was talking about. these are the untouchable players that he also mentioned early on. Araneta, Gener are relatives of you know who. they cannot be removed, and must always be involved in the starting line up or even as subs. god seriously... Gener? we dont have anyone else who can do better than him? Araneta? dickhead's too much of a dumbfuck to place the ball in the back of the net even if the goal keeper gives him charity he will still stuff it up!

  5. Well, Palami "owns" the team and he can pretty much do what he wants. He also owns Global, and Laos FC. And if Angeles is that good, then why isnt he playing for Global? Palami has a tendency to beef up Global, with signings of players based abroad and also the coach. But since he also plays in the UFL, we might see him suit up for the azkals soon. Luckily he hasnt gone that far. Hahahaha

Philippine football may have improved in some terms, but some things never change, like the selection process. It sucked before and it still sucks.

  6. Ruben Doctora is a good replacement for Araneta. Politics will always be there, especially now that Azkals is being managed by a private entity. Azkals is now owned by Palami and not by PFF anymore.
