The reality is, a vast number of Filipinos lack the fashion for football, which was opposite to our neighbors the Thais, Vietnamese, Malaysians, Indonesians, Singaporians etc. The opportunity to become a Football star is made available, its just the kids to realize that there is more to Football than the PBA or NBA.
we also have our create our own tournament yearly. But only problem we will ask all the weaken teams to play and call up all the fil-foreign to play. Then we will go around telling all Azkals fans are unstoppable.
Hindi talaga puede mga create your own league/cup taon taon. Mga Terry Razon Cup, Mang Teban Cup, Boy Utong League... wala kasi follow through. Players and kids lose interest.

The Makapili group along with its comrades from its parent group, the Ganap Party & the Sakdalista was the military aid to the Imperial Japanese Army during there military occupation in the country. Out of all the groups that collaborated with Japan during World War II, MAKAPILI became the most infamous and the most hated. Collectively they are easily on top of the Most Infamous Traitors in Philippine History. Lead by its founder Ben Ruben Ramos(also Ganap Party & Sakdalista leader), Pio Duran & his ally pro-Japanese Katipunan general Artemio Ricarte, their propaganda was so rabidly pro-Japanese and anti-American. They attract followers out of the poor or landless farmers who came to the group due to vague promises of land reform after the war. They saw the Japanese as saviors of the Philippines, and its members readily collaborated with them during the occupation of the islands. Many of its members were recruited into the Yoin, or United Nippon, an organisation dedicated to performing auxiliary and menial duties for the Japanese expeditionary force. Its main purpose was to counter the recognized guerrilla and the Philippine Commonwealth military activity by anti-Japanese forces in rural areas and to this end members of Makapili were given rudimentary military training. They were armed by the Japanese, & some of its members were absorbed by the Japanese Army. Widespread abuse, rape, murder, looting & destruction by the Japanese & there collaborators was reported. Its members became feared not because of their fighting prowess but because of their treacherous behavior which included spying and selling out their own people. They send "Intelligence scouts" into the enemy guerrilla units and their families to gather information for the Japanese. Whenever a village or a town was suspected of guerrilla activity, the Japanese would round up the residents and then let the MAKAPILI members—who covered their faces with bamboo baskets(Bayong) except for their eyes—point out the suspected guerrillas or their sympathizers. In this way, many Filipinos, including the innocent ones, were dragged off by the Japanese to be tortured and executed.
After the war ended in 1945, the group was disbanded and vilified for its involvement in some Japanese atrocities in the islands and individual members faced trials for treason as a result. Even Pro-Japanese Ex-Revolutionary President Aguinaldo was also arrested along with several others accused of collaboration with the Japanese, and jailed for some months in Bilibid prison. He's involvement with the group remains a matter of debate. He was released by presidential amnesty. In conclusion the MAKAPILI's are notorious collaborators.. And they are the ultimate traitors, i cant find any reason for you to argue that! Except if your lolo was a former member..

TheClockworks this is the true version Historical roots of urban squatting in Manila.
Manila was once the 'Paris of Asia'
Manila under American control, the new, civilian-oriented Insular Government headed by Governor-General William Howard Taft invited city planner Daniel Burnham to adapt Manila to modern needs. The Burnham Plan included the development of a road system, the use of waterways for transportation, and the beautification of Manila with waterfront improvements and construction of parks, parkways and buildings. Tram running along Escolta Street during the American period. The planned buildings included a government center occupying all of Wallace Field, which extends from Rizal Park to the present Taft Avenue. The Philippine Capitol was to rise at the Taft Avenue end of the field, facing toward the sea. Along with buildings for various government bureaus and departments, it would form a quadrangle with a lagoon in the center and a monument to José Rizal at the other end of the field. Of Burnham's proposed government center, only three units—the Legislative Building and the buildings of the Finance and Agricultural Departments—were completed when World War II erupted.
Manila during the Japanese occupation and World War II
The destruction brought about by the Battle of Manila in 1945. During the Japanese occupation of the Philippines, American soldiers were ordered to withdraw from Manila, and all military installations were removed on December 24, 1941. General Douglas MacArthur declared Manila an open city to prevent further death and destruction, but Japanese warplanes continued to bomb it. Manila was occupied by Japanese forces on January 2, 1942. From February 3 to March 3, 1945, Manila was the site of the bloodiest battle in the Pacific theater of World War II. Some 100,000 civilians were killed in February. At the end of the battle, Manila was recaptured by joint American and Philippine troops. It was the second most devastated city in the world, after Warsaw, during the Second World War. Almost all of the structures in the city, particularly in Intramuros, were destroyed.
At the end of the World War II in 1945, war destruction rendered many Filipinos homeless. Manila was a devastated city. This was across the city, but most serious was the destruction south of the Pasig River where the battle for Manila was intense and brutal. After the war, the US declared Manila as one of the most badly destroyed cities of the war.
This period coincided with the birth of the new nation. Political independence led to the Republic of the Philippines on July 4, 1946. US colonial rule ended. The remedies for solving the consequences of the war on homelessness fell on our leaders, an independent nation, no longer on colonials who had ruled us. The breakdown of law and order during the war carried on as we learned the ropes of running the country and as the nation’s leaders faced many other problems of a growing nation. Along the way, the rampant case of people in need of housing shelter led to open squatting on land whenever and wherever possible. Open spaces, public property, destroyed and unattended property, and open lands such as waterways, riverways and bay-shores became fair game for those who wanted to put up temporary live-in quarters. Manila’s near total destruction south of the Pasig during the war for liberation reduced to rubble the government center of Manila and that of the national government.
Many private institutions and public facilities were damaged by artillery, bombing, and uncontrolled fire that consumed the Ermita district. The many residential houses along the district where the pre-war gentry had lived were obliterated by fire and destruction.
The temporary remedies from the misery of those who had lost much and those who had been reduced to destitution and poverty during the war was to set up housing where temporary shelters could be built against standing concrete walls and abandoned housing after the war.
Thus, the solid walls and dungeons of Intramuros became one of the earliest concentrations of large groups of squatters. In the early postwar years, the Tondo district on the shorelands of Manila became a prime squatting area in view of its nearness to the thriving port city. Instead of being isolated, the garbage dumpsite in the foreshore (and later, in Payatas, where a replacement inland hillsite dump was created), became a a magnet for the very poor to settle nearby. The dumpsite provided them marginal livelihood by finding garbage free recyclables to be sold.
You are right Japan did help us to recover, but the payment came much later as they themselves are still recovering after the war. They help because they are oblige to do so, for they have done so much damage & Deaths to a lot of countries they invade, most notably the Philippines along with China. War reparations made pursuant to the San Francisco Peace Treaty with Japan (1951) include: reparations amounting to US$550 million (198 billion yen 1956) were made to the Philippines. Japan's War Reparations came in several forms: monetary reparations (as stipulated by Article 14 of the Treaty of Peace with Japan), ODA (Official Development Assistance), as well as; indemnities, soft loans and grants. Of these three, only the first count as official war reparations.
But i wasnt talking about the present State of Japan, im talking about Imperial Japan & there Filipino collaborators. The present day Japan, although they are still in in denial with some of the atrocities, they only bear the consequences of the former Imperial Government. There is a big diffirence between those two names, dont overstate my words. Japan did change a lot after the War. And Americas work of rebuilding & Westernizing Japan have a lot to do with it.
In contrast to your hardline Anti-Americanism. America was instrumental on the economic recovery of Europe & Asia. The US after liberating Europe, Africa & Asia, implemented the Marshall Plan (officially the European Recovery Program, ERP) was an American initiative to aid Western Europe, in which the United States gave over $12 billion (nearly $100 billion in 2016 US dollars) in economic assistance to help rebuild Western European economies after the end of World War II. From the end of the war to the end of 1953, the US also provided grants and credits amounting to $5.9 billion to Asian countries, especially China/Taiwan ($1.051 billion), India ($255 million), Indonesia ($215 million), Japan ($2.44 billion), South Korea ($894 million), Pakistan ($98 million) and the Philippines ($803 million). In addition, another $282 million went to Israel and $196 million to the rest of the Middle East. All this aid was separate from the Marshall Plan. The total of American grants and loans to the world from 1945 to 1953 came to $44.3 billion.
America was also instrumental in liberating European & Asian countries not only from fascist dictatorship but also from Marxist Leninism. The US already labored to saved the World at the cause of morethan 400,000 of its men & women. And after the war, communism rises, and the US need to sacrifice another 326,863 in Korea & 58,318 dead with 303,644 wounded in Vietnam, just to keep the World safe & away from communism.
TheClockworks Did i ever say that Aguinaldo, Ricarte, Servillano Aquino or Malvar where among the Worst Traitors in Philippine History? I did mention that general Artemio Ricarte was an ally to MAKAPILI founder Ben Ruben Ramos & that he was pro-Japanese like our former Pre.Aguinaldo. All of these are based on historical facts. In fact when the Japanese forces had invaded the Philippines. Among the invaders was general Artemio Ricarte. In 1942, Gen.Ricarte along with the Japanese Expeditionary Force liberated Ramos from his imprisonment. Gen.Ricarte was send by Prime Minister Tojo himself to help maintain peace and order in the country. In short he was a propaganda tool by the Japanese, they used him to attract local support. Yes he did not take the oath of allegiance to America, but he did collaborate with Imperial Japan. That is his only mistake. There is no question about his heroism and patriotism during the War for independence. Yes malaki ang utang na loob natin sa kanila, but how about the heroes of Bataan and Corregidor? Do we not also owe them our freedom? There were a total of 557,000 dead Filipinos during the war, & most of it where done by general Artemio Ricarte's Allies, the Japanese occupiers & the MAKAPILI. Should we speak no evil, hear no evil about there acts of cruelty? So out of respect to the great generals contribution to the country. Should we forget the Manila massacre? How about ‘the march of death’ in 12 days without any food or water & medicine.” There deliberate Starvation, Torture, Beatings, sports beheadings, & there senseless murders, the studied mistreatment and humiliation, work in forced hard labor camps where “men were literally worked to death.” How they bury & tortured men alive. THEN THE MASS RAPE AND SEXUAL ENSLAVEMENT OF WOMEN AND GIRLS. Does the general see all these that is happening around him? & should we justify all these acts out of patriotism and nationalism?
There are a proverb that says "it is not the eyes that are blind but the hearts" "Man may gain the whole world, and lose his own soul out of Blindness of the heart" for "for the eyes are the light of our soul TheClockworks".
Traitors you see?
Anonymous3 December 2018 at 19:58 Damdamin ba kamo? Is that the right way to air sentiments? For what exactly? Why dont they or you present your true agenda, your true motives in a proper way para naman healthy yung usapan natin...
Well, what do you know! Its typical filipino racism! Ganyan talaga mga Pinoy hinihila pababa kapwa Pinoy.. Kahit pa kalahati lang pagka Pinoy nila o di nila alam kultura at lenggwahe natin, in respect to there Filipino mothers or fathers or grandfathers & in respect to our law of dual citizenship, dapat respetuhin natin sila as co-equal Pinoy lalo na't dugo at pawis yung inaalay nila para sa bayan.
What a bad day for Philippine Sports! Talo Azkals. Talo si "Pinoy Mayweather". At talo Gilas. At hito tayo nagbabangayan, may kanya kayang agenda.
Good publicity or bad publicity is still a publicity. Ang Miracle of Hanoi last 2010 was done by a mix of homegrowns at Foreign born players natin kaya sumikat yun ng todo. Now the question for PFF is this: Ano na ang plano nyo sa U23 natin?
We'll the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship qualification will be on March next year & we will host the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in December next year. I would like to ask you first if in your view, do the currect U23 pool have a chance againts China & Malaysia next year? Who should be the players? And who should be the coach?
Ask Fatlami.. He will go around scounting for 18 years old players and con them into representing Azkal by saying they cannot make it to their native country. Neil must be regretting his ass now as he would have represented England since all English top club keepers are foreigners..
What a farce! Is that a backline?

DeleteThe destruction brought about by the Battle of Manila in 1945.
DeleteThis period coincided with the birth of the new nation.
DeleteBut i wasnt talking about the present State of Japan, im talking about Imperial Japan & there Filipino collaborators.
DeleteThere are a proverb that says "it is not the eyes that are blind but the hearts"
"Man may gain the whole world, and lose his own soul out of Blindness of the heart" for "for the eyes are the light of our soul TheClockworks".
Traitors you see?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous3 December 2018 at 19:58 Damdamin ba kamo? Is that the right way to air sentiments? For what exactly? Why dont they or you present your true agenda, your true motives in a proper way para naman healthy yung usapan natin...
ReplyDeleteWell, what do you know! Its typical filipino racism! Ganyan talaga mga Pinoy hinihila pababa kapwa Pinoy.. Kahit pa kalahati lang pagka Pinoy nila o di nila alam kultura at lenggwahe natin, in respect to there Filipino mothers or fathers or grandfathers & in respect to our law of dual citizenship, dapat respetuhin natin sila as co-equal Pinoy lalo na't dugo at pawis yung inaalay nila para sa bayan.
DeleteWhat a bad day for Philippine Sports!
ReplyDeleteWe'll the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship qualification will be on March next year & we will host the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in December next year. I would like to ask you first if in your view, do the currect U23 pool have a chance againts China & Malaysia next year? Who should be the players? And who should be the coach?
DeleteHindi trabaho ni Palami ang U23. Si Araneta ang kahulan mo diyan.
DeleteAsk Fatlami..
DeleteHe will go around scounting for 18 years old players and con them into representing Azkal by saying they cannot make it to their native country.
Neil must be regretting his ass now as he would have represented England since all English top club keepers are foreigners..
Porferio Kabisig halata wala kang alam sa PFF.
ReplyDeleteFYI sakop pa rin ni Palami ang U23.
